I have no idea how this is LA Kitchen Cabinets . There will be an update ... after calling the store I only reached a voicemail. The owner called me back about 20-30 minutes later . I am assuming he saw my review that I had posted before his call . He asked me a few questions and told me that he had closed his showroom . However, that was NOT advertised on his Yelp and it was NOT updated for clients that are looking for cabinets . My review is to make sure that people are aware before driving to this business .There was a sign on the window w a handful of door samples inside the smoke shop. In addition, he says he works for larger contractors and only people that spread word-of-mouth. He didn't seem too interested in any work however, he asked me to revise my review . John is one of the smartest and most capable people I've ever met. He is professional, solution-oriented, creative, and full of life experiences -- he is exactly the type of person I needed to work with, since I was inexperienced with cabinets and kitchen remodeling. He's a dream-maker. Whatever ideas or interests you have with your project, John can probably make it happen. I'm thrilled with my new kitchen. I should add I appreciate that I have never felt pressured to add or upgrade anything. It is important for me to feel comfortable with who I'm working with. After being in touch with John/TrueGrain for most of the last year, I can confidently say I was given complete control over the creative decisions, and that John never patronized me. He only supported my ambitions. As for the quality of TrueGrain's materials, it is the best. My drawers are beautiful, easy to open, and soft-close. I now have a pull-out drawer for trash and recycling bins. There are no sagging shelves in the cabinets. And instead of shelves in our tall/wide pantry, we picked drawers-- this makes the space much more usable/accessible. So not only is the kitchen beautiful, but it's much more functional. No hidden fees. The work was perfect. The installation team was professional and cleaned up after the job. The work was done as scheduled and on time. The finished product, the quality of the materials, and the professionalism and skill of John and his team were worth what I paid. I recommend John/TrueGrain to everyone.
