Called the company because they are an authorized service center for Thermodor. The tech came out and charged 2 hours of driving time and diagnosed the problem correctly but did not have hard start kit for the compressor which is same as common brand Whirlpool uses. I have 2 complaints to this company. 1) the driver came out unprepared to solve a problem, when they should have known what the problem was based on my description of the issues. 2) the job quote to have the starter replace was over 500 dollars including 2 hours of driving time in addtion to $240 for the 1st trip when the part cost $68.15 from Appliance Parts Depot in Houston. So the total repair through them was going to cost me over $750.00. It was matter of taking out the old part and plugging it in like changing the battery in a flash light. They must be in business to take advantage of customers instead of taking a pride in making customer happy and earning deserved profit. Before calling for their service everyone please at least think a little.

Lowes has been working the issue with us but they too can get Kingdom appliance to answer their call. Lowes is going to either get our frig repaired by another company or replace it.
