The initial installer every time we called made me feel like I was a chore and told us it would be weeks until they could even come to look at our unit. First, let me say that we overall are very impressed with Renaud heating and cooling.However, we…read morehad a service called done last year, and after the service call, I noticed that our hvac unit, which is mitsubishi split unit was leaking during the summer, so I shut it off, and we didn't use it all summer. This summer I turned it back on again, it ran for a couple days and started leaking again and I thought, huh, this is weird. So instead of calling for a service fee, it is the weekend I went online, went to YouTube,and saw how to take the thing apart. I noticed that the drain tube for the condenser was not hooked up to the drain PAN. So every time it was working, the water wasn't going anywhere, except for down the front of our wall. Anyway, long story short, I'm sure it was just to skip over, but if your unit is dripping, take it apart and make sure that the back of the drip PAN is hooked into the condenser water line probably using wrong terminology.
