For meals we had the Sammy Davis chicken (5*) the Sunrise burger (5*) and the fried ribs( was a 2nd choice as they were out of the snapper. To me, I rate a restaurant on how I feel when leaving, was not worth the money ? Would I come back? We absolutely will, may even do it tomorrow before we fly home as there are so many other meals I'd love to try. As a bonus, the chef came out to greet us and we couldn't compliment her enough. They often have weekly & daily specials such as $5.50 large daiquiris on Monday & Wednesday, specials on gallon daiquiris on Sundays... just to name a few. This is one of 2 drive-thru daiquiri stores in the area; so pick your poison. The burgers and ribeye steaks here are fairly priced and better than you get at many far fancier and way more expensive restaurants. I've eaten a LOT of steaks and enjoyed plenty of good steak nights around the New Orleans area but the ribeye here is by far one of the best I've had anywhere. The service at the bar and at the tables is quick, friendly and overall just a great experience. This is some of the best bar food I've had anywhere and just one of the best options for a great steak and burger at a great price anywhere. Now if they could just do something about the cancer sticks...
