Simply amazing! 2 of us had the corn crab chowder which we agreed is one of the best soups we've ever had! For meals we had the Sammy Davis chicken (5*) the Sunrise burger (5*) and the fried ribs( was a 2nd choice as they were out of the snapper. To me, I rate a restaurant on how I feel when leaving, was not worth the money ? Would I come back? We absolutely will, may even do it tomorrow before we fly home as there are so many other meals I'd love to try. As a bonus, the chef came out to greet us and we couldn't compliment her enough. Give this place a try - I promise you won't regret it!

Indoors: It's just a tad bit more difficult to get a free bartender to take your order, but patience is a virtue, so I will normally wait it out. Dark lighting makes for a club type environment, take it or leave it. Pricing is fair. They often have weekly & daily specials such as $5.50 large daiquiris on Monday & Wednesday, specials on gallon daiquiris on Sundays... just to name a few. This is one of 2 drive-thru daiquiri stores in the area; so pick your poison. For me, it's a go because I'm familiar with the New Orleans Original Daiquiri menu, pricing & specials that I mentioned earlier.

I love the location over the water! Once I got in there was no waiter present, so I seated myself. There were only 3 active tables with guest with ONE waiter. After 15 mins she came and got my order and brought me some water. Well once I got my food 30 mins later, my appetizer was cold, complete cold! I only have maybe an half hour before I get back to work so I just kept the dish. The batter on the tomatoes were very bland! Like it didn't taste like anything. The shrimp were very dry as well. Once I got my grilled shrimp plate, I thought I was in for a treat but .... I was wrong! The plate was extremely hot so I'm preeeeettttyy sure they nuked the dish before bringing it to me because my food was like warm. The BEST thing I had out of my 2 dishes were the Hushpuppies, if they would season their batter like the hushpuppies this place would be jumping!!!!
