I have yet to go to or work at a hotel where the hotel bar is "the neighborhood bar" or even a top choice for a meeting place with friends. Hotel bars, in general, are much more subdued than other bars. This bar is now a beautiful bar that is visually appealing. It also has very nice lounge chairs and tables. But, as is the case with all other hotel bars, there is no jukebox. Or pool table or dart boards. Nor is it open 24/7 like some bars around here. So the fun factor at this bar is somewhat low. Drinks are pricey here because it is a hotel and hotels overcharge for everything. I ordered a few beers and they charge $4.75/bottle for Michelob Ultra. Expect likewise overpricing for cocktails. I would recommend this bar if you want a nice trendy bar to hang out at. If you want to be rowdy and crazy with your friends this may not be the right place for you.
