You can book batting cages by the hour, you can use a couple different pitching machines or you can pitch to your kids from behind a screen. They also have batting tees available. They have a couple open turf areas for drills, the two side-by-side batting cages retract so that the entire turf area is exposed. Golf simulators can be rented for as little as 15 minutes on up in 15 min increments. The putting area is rented by the hour. There is no food served but you are welcome to bring food in and there are restaurants within walking distance. It's right on Oregon St next to George's Jewelers near the corner of SW 2nd Ave. it's bright and clean and each area feels like it's own space which is nice. Celebrating my 1000th Review with DZONE Skydiving!…read more I have always wanted to do skydiving but I couldn't find the ultimate push to do it. That all changed this year. I knew I was going to be 56 years old in August and while I love going out for dinner with the family, getting books or Lego, I yearned for something different. I was encouraged by friend who had done skydiving a couple of years and the motivation provided was just what I needed. Specifically, " DO IT" followed by "You won't regret it and pay the extra $$ to have it filmed :)" How could anyone not go through with it after that encouragement. I thought that there was as skydiving outfit in Caldwell but wasn't sure the name. I did a Yelp search that brought me to DZONE Skydiving. They are in Parma, Idaho and Bozeman, Montana I set the date, late in August to make sure I could fly my brother in from Phoenix and the rest of the family would all bear witness to my terminal velocity. I paid the deposit back in mid July and signed all the paperwork. I watched about ten different jumps from their YouTube channel and waited. Then waited and finally the day was here. We left Meridian and made the drive out to Parma I checked in, got fitted for a harness and then got weighed. I was not nervous or anxious, quite the opposite, I was at peace but those words of encouragement lived rent free in mind that day My jumper, David Lakowski, who I was going to be connected to filmed a short video before we got into the specialized airplane. There are no seats in that airplane. You sit on the floor. My back was up against the pilot's chair and we rumbled down the runway and took flight. We gained altitude slowly and the plane rocked back and forth. David explained to me that when he opens the door to put my foot on the step and tuck myself like a banana then we settle, I can extend my arms out. I was wearing a long sleeved shirt but nothing could prepare me for how frigid it was. It was less than 30 degrees and I felt extremely cold. I wish I wore more layers. I put my foot on the ledge and looked around. It really puts a lot into perspective. We are just gnats on this rock. We are so small compared to the world we live in And with that, we tumbled out of the airplane, freefalling about more than 125 miles per hour. Absolutely stunning and beautiful. We fell for only sixty seconds but it felt like ten minutes. David pulled the parachute and we zoomed back up. It is quite the jolt and yank. I got the opportunity to pull the yellow cords to control the flight of the parachute. Freaking awesome. We gently but with some twists and turns descended down. The air and wind was playing with our velocity and the jumper told me to lift my legs up as far as I could. We skidded down on our butts through about a hundred feet of grass before stopping. Wow. What a freaking thrill ride. I highly recommend DZONE for your an once-in-a-lifetime thrill or you really love skydiving on a regular basis, they are your outfitters. Very professional and safe, obviously, I trusted my life to them, and I have the proof of life to prove it.

The scramble itself was a blast, and the chili cook-off contest afterward was the perfect way to end the day. The course is beautiful and well maintained, with 18 scenic holes, a driving range, short game area, and pro shop. They also offer lessons, fun tournaments, and a great bar and restaurant with an outdoor patio, the perfect spot to relax after your round. Located near the Idaho-Oregon border, you even get the occasional small plane flying overhead from the nearby airport, which adds to the laid back, small town charm. If you're looking for a great round of golf with friendly people, a fun atmosphere, and beautiful views, Scotch Pines is worth the drive!

The owners live right on site and double as groundskeepers. They are wonderful people. As nice as you will ever find in this world today. There's lots of animals to see, and the feed cups were pretty big compared to what we've gotten at other places before. I wish I had gotten their names, but one of the ladies running the register, and one of the men working in the goat enclosure; they were both so kind and welcoming! The horses were well cared for and extremely beautiful. The Vis Vis carriage was AMAZING. It was decorated with white delicate flowers which went with the two horses. Leilani arrived on schedule and left when I requested. The driver's hat was so cute like a Kentucky Derby hat. We had brought the bride to tears of joy with the beautifulist scene. While this older motel was generally very clean, it wasn't terribly comfortable…read more It had an ice machine near the office, however, it didn't include any kind of scoop so anyone getting ice had to use their hands, which, particularly in this day and age, isn't terribly sanitary. The room shower was frankly coffin sized, and it showed a lot of old dark mold around the bottom border of the shower and in the corners where the sheetrocked walls met. The corners were covered by some kind of thick tape/adhesive plastic that was peeling away from the walls & you could see the old dark mold behind it as well. The bed was clearly past its prime given how bouncy it was & the little crater you sank into in the middle, and it made for a pretty crappy night's sleep. It was matched by the blackout curtains whose blackout backing was ripped away in places. Outlets in the lamp pulled out when you pulled out the plug of whatever you were charging. The app I found it in showed a rating of 7.9. I think that was an overblown number. Pluses: * The staff seemed kind and friendly. * The air conditioning worked very well. * The neighborhood was decent. * It really was very clean aside from the shower. * The outside parking area was very nice.
