He wasn't fooling around, mishandling the equipment, or doing anything outside of normal fishing... it just broke. The woman immediately became confrontational and angry with my son, accusing him of abusing the rod and telling him he would have to pay for it. We calmly tried to explain that he had done nothing negligent and that we didn't feel it was reasonable to be charged for equipment that broke during normal use. She then stormed off and got her husband, who came back and was immediately hostile and extremely disrespectful. He told us to pack up our belongings, leave, and that we were banned for life. The entire reaction was completely blown out of proportion and absolutely uncalled for. We came there to celebrate my son's birthday and make some fun memories with him and his friends. Instead we left embarrassed, upset, and completely shocked by the way we were treated. What should have been a fun birthday celebration turned into an incredibly disappointing one. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this business to anyone looking for a welcoming, family-friendly place to fish.

It was kind of near the river/launch ramp. Not much of a view. I think this location of the snake river just isn't all that nice. A lot of brown yuck and lots of flies and gnats. Had to be careful to keep our mouths closed! When I went to use the bathroom, the light wouldn't work! I tried a couple different switches (they're outside) nothing! So I had to leave the door wide open for the natural light to come in. I don't get it? Why not have a light switch inside the bathroom? Anyway definitely clean - very outdated. The camp host was nice, she saw us come in and kind of chased us down on her little golf cart and actually came around my husband's blind side and he almost ran her over! We were a little confused by the way she snuck up on us. I'm not sure if I would recommend coming here ? Definitely not an "Oasis on the Snake" Of all the RV parks that we have been to on our 2 Week road trip, this was by far our least favorite.

Celebrating my 1000th Review with DZONE Skydiving!…read more I have always wanted to do skydiving but I couldn't find the ultimate push to do it. That all changed this year. I knew I was going to be 56 years old in August and while I love going out for dinner with the family, getting books or Lego, I yearned for something different. I was encouraged by friend who had done skydiving a couple of years and the motivation provided was just what I needed. Specifically, " DO IT" followed by "You won't regret it and pay the extra $$ to have it filmed :)" How could anyone not go through with it after that encouragement. I thought that there was as skydiving outfit in Caldwell but wasn't sure the name. I did a Yelp search that brought me to DZONE Skydiving. They are in Parma, Idaho and Bozeman, Montana I set the date, late in August to make sure I could fly my brother in from Phoenix and the rest of the family would all bear witness to my terminal velocity. I paid the deposit back in mid July and signed all the paperwork. I watched about ten different jumps from their YouTube channel and waited. Then waited and finally the day was here. We left Meridian and made the drive out to Parma I checked in, got fitted for a harness and then got weighed. I was not nervous or anxious, quite the opposite, I was at peace but those words of encouragement lived rent free in mind that day My jumper, David Lakowski, who I was going to be connected to filmed a short video before we got into the specialized airplane. There are no seats in that airplane. You sit on the floor. My back was up against the pilot's chair and we rumbled down the runway and took flight. We gained altitude slowly and the plane rocked back and forth. David explained to me that when he opens the door to put my foot on the step and tuck myself like a banana then we settle, I can extend my arms out. I was wearing a long sleeved shirt but nothing could prepare me for how frigid it was. It was less than 30 degrees and I felt extremely cold. I wish I wore more layers. I put my foot on the ledge and looked around. It really puts a lot into perspective. We are just gnats on this rock. We are so small compared to the world we live in And with that, we tumbled out of the airplane, freefalling about more than 125 miles per hour. Absolutely stunning and beautiful. We fell for only sixty seconds but it felt like ten minutes. David pulled the parachute and we zoomed back up. It is quite the jolt and yank. I got the opportunity to pull the yellow cords to control the flight of the parachute. Freaking awesome. We gently but with some twists and turns descended down. The air and wind was playing with our velocity and the jumper told me to lift my legs up as far as I could. We skidded down on our butts through about a hundred feet of grass before stopping. Wow. What a freaking thrill ride. I highly recommend DZONE for your an once-in-a-lifetime thrill or you really love skydiving on a regular basis, they are your outfitters. Very professional and safe, obviously, I trusted my life to them, and I have the proof of life to prove it.

Thank you Rio and then thank you again! I suspect i proposed a challenge, From check-in to check out i was supported, encouraged and surrounded by professionals sharing their joy! That joy is infective and I got the bug. I'll be jumpin in my dreams for awhile,,,
