The first time I called they were trying to send me a form to sign over the phone but they agent said it wasn't going through for some reason he tried to send it to me via email and text. So the next option was to drive to the office to sign it in person. So I did that. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of my form . Fast forward 3 months later and I'm still being charged because they never sent the insurance company "Safeway insurance my cancellation form" I called back to have them send my form and they said they would once again they did not! Now today September 28th 2026 I called to get them to send it to the insurance company and to me. Same thing the "agent was having trouble sending it" so I had to THREATEN to FILE and complaint with California department of insurance and now finally after 4 months ADRIANAS INSURANCE has followed my request. On top of all this the insurance company "Safeway insurance" is telling me they may not be able to give me a refund since it's been so long. Avoid this insurance company terrible experience I have never experienced this before I've cancelled many policies and they all have been cancelled the same day

This is directly aimed at the "helpful" representative (Cynthia). I think that was her name anyway…read more I called this company today 9/2/26 around 3:20pm in the hopes of a little compassion and understanding, considering we're on the hunt for auto insurance. The individual I spoke with was not compassionate about our situation, although it's a lose-lose, a little kindness and compassion would have been very appreciated. I was met with judgmental remarks from her, as if I don't already understand the situation. "I'm well aware", was my response to her rebuttals and out-of-line comments about our situation. Do better as a human, Cynthia. Do better as a person who needs to be trained and educated on proper phone etiquette, and again compassion, which was warranted, but not received, unfortunately. She ended up hanging up on me in a desperate attempt to get rid of me. Hanging up on a potential client is also not proper phone etiquette. I never once became aggressive or rude, I just simply asked her to remain focused at the task on hand and I didn't need her comments about OUR situation, or her very out-of-line comments. I truly hope the call was recorded and I hope management takes this review seriously because this should never happen to another person seeking help from their business! Addendum: my call was made to your business at 3:22pm yesterday. I don't think you have my cell number, which would have been provided to you had you requested it in a private message. I absolutely did call, how would I randomly know your employee's name otherwise? Oh, and yes, I was abruptly hung up on. I never became rude, defeated absolutely. I would offer you to research a little harder, a call around 3:20-3:22 9/2 and listen to the call yourself. My name is the same as what I presented to Cynthia. Otherwise, I'd be more than happy to email you.
