This was excessive in my opinion and not well communicated. Windows are a very quality product.

I went into the showroom and worked with a sales person to pick out a new screen door. My current…read moreone was all glass and I told the sales person I was replacing it only because I wanted one where the top half of the door could open to a screen for ventilation as this feature was of great importance for me. He showed me one in the showroom that was all glass but had a one-hand latch with the top half having a retractable screen. I asked if they had one where the bottom half was panel instead of glass but still had the top half retractable screen. He said not in the showroom but one could be ordered. He showed me one in a catalog where the bottom half was door panel and the top half was glass. I directly asked if the top half of this door still opened to screen for ventilation and used the one-hand latch. He said yes. I wanted to order the door but had to use a different sales person when they found out I was using a local handyman to install the door. I had to call repeatedly to get a hold of this new sales person. We discussed the one-handed latch that was supposedly going to be on the door before placing the order. The company arranged to have the handy man pick up the door from the company directly (as it was standard practice). He did and installed the door when I was not home. I came home to find a door with the old style two-handed latch system and only retractable screen for a quarter of the door. After repeated calls to the sales person who ordered the door, I was told there were no returns and all they would do is sell me the door in the showroom at cost. When I filed a formal complaint, they claimed the local handyman I hired to install the door was responsible.

We bought our house with pella windows. The windows are good quality but my review here is about…read moretheir repair or customer service. I have to give 1 star on this. Very very poor or ZERO customer service. It is impossible to get a hold of a live person. Visited the local store and was told that they would contact the main office and we would get a call from them but haven't heard from anyone. And contacted other window repair companies but was told they might not be able to repair because pella had lots of control or authority over their products which makes repair super difficult. If they produced good quality products, they better back up or follow up with their repair . It has been a huge hassle trying to get the window repaired. If I had a choice on windows, I would choose a company or brand that was easy to contact and always attend to their customers promptly. Based on experience, i would not choose pella.

They provide the option of steel siding which is only one of two companies in Lincoln that provide this service. ABC Seamless is the other company that provides this service and they were literally double in their estimate of windows and steel siding. Their sales team took the time to show me the materials included in the projects, including a demo of the windows integrity to the outside elements. We took time to walk around the house together and really refine how I wanted to update the house. They provided a lot of options with the update which made me feel good about updating a hundred-year-old home while maintaining its beauty and improving its life for at least the next 50 years. I highly recommend working with them on your next update of siding or windows. I've been extremely happy with the process and care that Innovations continues to maintain.

It took a total of 111 days for the project to be completed. We could tell we definitely weren't a priority. The communication via text and email was almost nonexistent. The man who was in charge of staining our window, to match the one we had installed previously, stained it way too dark, left some areas unstained, left varnish running down the wood trim, etc. We were expecting beautiful, unblemished windows, and instead received windows with little nicks in the woodwork, damage in the corners, etc. These issues seemed of little importance to the manager of the store. Needless to say, what should have been a one week project at the most went from October 23 of last year until February 12 this year! I would definitely not recommend this company.
