Selection is ok (it's a smaller store) so you can get most well known wine/bourbon/whiskey

Either I came at a good time, or this place is chocked full of good deals! I love World Market and…read moreI get really excited when I see one. It's rare for me to ever pass up a chance to shop here. When I came in, I wasn't really in a shopping mood per se and I was with my mom who thinks that anything over $1 is a rip-off. However, neither of these situations changed the fact that I was going to peruse every aisle. I was surprised at the amount of sale items each aisle had. I ended up buying a turquoise stone necklace and some matching earrings. They were both already marked down with an additional 30% on the sale items. I also found a really cute gift bag and matching tissue paper that ended up being around $1 on sale. For the same price of an ugly gift bag at Party City, I got a really cool handmade one. My favorite thing about World Market is their wordly foods and this particular location had a great selection too (although I left without picking any food related item up) My in-laws went to Italy and for Christmas, I decided to make them an Italian themed gift basket. I found about 90% of the imported items from World Market. I find that at least half of my Christmas shopping is done at World Market because you can find really unique things for anyone on your list. I also recommend signing up for their reward club. You can earn points just by providing your phone # at checkout and if you sign up for emails, you frequently receive store coupons that can be used on anything minus alcohol. The service at this particular store was great. I had a nice guy ring me up and there were even a few people ask if we needed help.

With so much drama in the S-T. C, it's kinda hard being M-A-R-K to the G. But somehow, someway,…read moreLiquor 'n' Wine keeps selling me funky ass brews like every single day. Liquor 'n' Wine is my sizzurp stop whenever I'm out this way. With all these white people residing in St. Charles, best believe they got that craft beer for yo a$$. It's not the biggest or best selection I've come across, but I have found beers I've been wanting to try that I couldn't find elsewhere. They got plenty of Lagunitas, Southern Tier, Two Brothers, Dogfish Head, and whatever else your silver spoon, fancy pale face ass beyotches want. My older brother lives out here, and he calls this place the MLIG store (My Little Indian Guy). The guys who work here are cool as hell, and they assure that you get your swerve on real proper like.

So I've been a longtime shopper and my family also shops there. The last experience I had was VERY…read moredisappointing. We had just come from the nail salon next door and wanted to buy some alcohol for my bachelorette trip (which we were on our way to) We went to the whiskey/bourbon wall and my friend was very politely asking questions and was met with attitude and disrespect. She didn't notice right away, but I did. After there was literally NO help given, my friend picked out what she wanted and we went to the register. She had offered to buy since it was my Bachelorette weekend and had a Cashapp Card with all her money on it. She had checked her balance IN the store and had plenty of money on it. She had asked if she could have access to WiFi to unlock her card (she had problems with people hacking in the past, so she locks it after a purchase and unlocks it at the next place to make a purchase) when he refused, I offered her my hotspot to take care of it and she did. She unlocked it, used her card and their system kept declining it. They kept blaming her bank and saying their "system is superior and there are no issues with it" We had also stepped to the side to fix this so he could take care of other customers. Once she was good, we tried again. It didn't work. The 15 year old behind the counter (I'm assuming is the franchise owner's daughter ---she looked WAY too young to be working at a liquor store and I have my BASSET, so I know for a fact that you need to be 21 to sell liquor) gave us more attitude then her father did. During this whole interaction it took a lot for me not to say more than I did. ultimately, we left our items on the counter and said "we will come back" well, we never did. and I probably will never go to that location again and have told my family about our experience and they were shocked. oh, and as for the card? we went to another liquor store, the owner was SUPER helpful and friendly AND her card worked perfectly fine. So yeah. Even as a long time shopper, I'll be sticking to the place that gave me good service.
