We got some cheese curds and those were just great! Hub got a pulled pork sandwich with garlic bread....also some local potato chips....he loved this. I told the waitress how much I like it and she informed me they change up the soups and salads daily...I turned to look at the black board and saw a special salad of the day that looked so marvelous I was sad I missed out....but then I would have missed out on the soup! I've been there twice now…read more First night (Saturday) there was very loud, derogatory rap music playing. Families with kids eat there, they should not have to hear stuff like that. It was very hard to communicate with the server due to the noise. The actual menu is a lot smaller then what is shown on their website. Especially fish options. I had grouper tenders which were small and mostly breading. Not worth it. Fries were excellent. Tartar sauce appeared to be pure mayo, no sign of relish or lemon at all. Ketchup, mustard, and salt were the only condiments on the table, not sure if anything else was available, like cider vinegar or even pepper. It's a pub, you would think all that stuff to be automatic. Second night (9 pm Sunday) I tried to go elsewhere because of my previous night's experience, but not many other options. Most of Alma was already closed. Tonight there was no music playing, so I was able to have a conversation. I had the olive burger with steak fries, my son had boneless wings with Thai sauce and waffle fries. Everything was very good, and a good value for the money. I guess I need a third night to be a tie-breaker.

If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy a meal, want a taste of pre 2020 service, this is a great bet. This industry continues to be plagued with labor shortages and I don't envy them one bit but it sure is refreshing to hit those high notes during these difficult times while enjoying a good meal and supporting a small business. I can tell that the good people of Braveheart Pub really appreciate it!
