I don't drink alcohol but the bartender was extremely nice and made me a virgin drink that tasted amazing!! Most everyone in the bar were locals and regulars and knew we were from out of town. It was karaoke night and after much convincing my friend got me to sing two songs. It was the most fun I've had in a while. The staff were so friendly to us as well as the locals. Plan on returning.

Let me begin by saying the Trap is NOT a place for everyone. In fact, I believe it is a place…read morewhere very few people would actually be comfortable. It defined the term "den of iniquity" in my mind. But all the same, I tend to love it there. A few notes on why I love the Trap. 1. It's cash only, paid up front. So if things get sketchy, you just walk away. Which is probably going to happen sometimes. 2. You won't be the drunkest person there. Just trust me on this one, you won't be. 3. Overt profanity in every way; every single way. 4. A decent group of regulars who keep things interesting. 4. Bartenders that won't steal from you. Unless you turn your head, then they will rob you blind; but who turns their head at a place like this. 5. A post apocalyptic outdoor area that you can smoke just about anything in. 6. Bikers (see #1) 7. $1.50 beers during the day If the above sound like something you just have to see for yourself, then I highly recommend it. If you have ever gone to Applebee's on your own volition, I'd plan to stay as far away as you can.

Next burger comes out and I ordered a bacon deluxe burger. Bacon was old and hard, not even grease to be found on bacon. Still didn't say anything. Eating my fries, I found a hair in my fries. That was the last straw. Our waitress didn't bring us silverware, had to ask, didn't bring us salt or pepper, went and found my own and no napkins. So I asked if there was a manager on duty. A "Manager" came to our table, who did not appear to be a manager. I explained what I had happen to me and said I wasn't paying for my food. She informed me she couldn't do that.... They could remake my food.., no thank you. Or give me a 50% discount on my food. I said I had lost my appetite and would not eat anything made by them. Get my bill and they took $7 off from my bill. Yeah, paid my bill and left. DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU LIKE FROZEN FOOD WARMED UP, bad service and old food!

Very clean inside with friendly service and a tap beer selection that's basic but probably has something to suit most folks. I went for the Stone IPA. I ordered a turkey reuben. The sandwich was a little light on meat and a little heavy on some too--creamy coleslaw. The bread stayed crisp at least, and wasn't overly greasy. Good enough for a pit stop, and a nice laid back alternative to Birch Run's chain restaurant offerings over toward the outlet mall.

Many folks around town have raved about this little restaurant bar so we gave it a shot. Service…read moreupon entering was welcoming, many open tables and lots of seating options. The bar was quiet, calm, dark and cold but seemed like a chill vibe. Our waitress was okay, service was quick and she did her job well but didn't smile and wasn't very talkative or seemingly friendly. We asked what her favorite appetizers were and we ordered the Loaded Potato Balls based on her recommendation - they were great! 10/10! Loaded with flavor, very moist and served with 3 sauces - ranch, spicy ranch and sour cream. The ranch and spicy ranch were not great - tastes like they're bottled not homemade. The sour cream though, that was a good compliment. We both ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich - 10/10! They're hand breaded, juicy and tender chicken breasts topped with lettuce, tomato and mayo on a perfectly warm brioche bun. Our meal was served so hot, it was perfect. I would absolutely go back just for this sandwich! The homemade chips for the side were great, crispy and lightly seasoned. I had the tater tots with mine and they tasted freezer burnt, wouldn't get them again. We also had a side of their house made coleslaw and it was perfect, ice cold and a great balance of flavor. Draft beer wasn't super cold - it would be better served in a frosted glass. Overall- it's good, we'd come again! Next time we'd sit at the bar top as the bartenders seemed to enjoy more casual conversation and friendly vibes with their customers.
