I ordered an incredibly expensive pair of boots, took several months to get them, and when they arrived they were at least 1.5 sizes larger than what I ordered. Thought that it was a mistake and that I had received somebody else's boots, but there it was stamped on the inside of the boots. Also not thrilled with the rather thin leather uppers even though they were "expedition" boots, and the overall construction and fit are no better than other moc-type boots, including Asian imports. All at a truly epic price. There are NO REFUNDS on boots that are ordered from them. You can only exchange them once for a different size, for which you will wait several months to a year to get. Won't ship overseas. Can't get a hold of anybody - you get an answering machine when you call.

Considerably reduced of course. Perfect fit, too. Then on to the regular shoe store. Had resigned myself to purchasing two pairs of full priced Haflingers. (They are the only sturdy, comfortable shoes that fit at the moment due to a medical situation.) BUT -- two different kinds of Haflingers were also being phased out. Yes! Add those, too. Then found a pair of reduced, winter type (lined) clogs with a back strap. They were even Uggs! Ok! Also added four cans of suede / nubuck water protectant spray. (Cashier was so impressed with the final tally, they gave me two of the cans without charging. Well! Thank you.) As the cashier on the discount side said, she worked at the store and appreciated it so much because the store was "old-fashioned". I knew what she meant. And agreed. I drive to this store regularly from Rockford, IL. Can't remember when I last purchased shoes anywhere else. Can't be beat. One of a kind.

We were met with hostility and unprofessional staff. We had our gates looked at for about two seconds and that was it. The process is no longer personal and staff acts as if they do not care to help. Staff is dressed in leggings which is absolutely not appropriate for the workplace. We will never be back.

A very expensive Harley belt wore out and the leather cracked, so they made me a new belt with the Harley hardware. 2. The pull strap on a pair of boots kept tearing and they replaced it.
