He gives off a horrible vibe - I think he has forgotten or overlooked the fact that some people come to the class to keep healthy (not just lose weight but to help with stress and battle serious illnesses like Cancer). They are constantly changing the time and length of classes and yet are not understanding when you have to reschedule the rest of your life to fit around the new schedule (i.e organizing childcare, rushing to the class from your job). If this attitude could be changed then it would be an overall great experience and company to deal with.

They are constantly changing the schedule to accommodate everyones needs, and creating new and fun ways to stay healthy. Each class offers a different experience. They are currently working on Mini MOB which is dedicated to kids and Mommy and Me classes. I am so glad I found MOB and have already recruited many friends and family to join me in maintaining a healthier lifestyle. I HIGHLY recommend MOB Fitness to anyone no matter the age or fitness level.

There are a lot of fitness options, and although I am not a tennis or squash player, my buddies seem to enjoy the courts. The people running the place are always supportive and friendly, so I thought I would give them a 5 star review because I feel they deserve it and because I take advantage of what they have to offer and I enjoy my time spent there.

It was fun to try, but for me personally, probably not something I'd continue. For those of you interested though, there are different levels of classes (not just pole dancing, but also aerial yoga, etc.) to do. Sometimes hard to find parking since the lot is small. But there's lots of residential parking nearby (2h limit during the day).

The gym is clean and well kept, although the front door setup allows a lot of grit to be tracked onto the gym floor-so maybe not so good for doing floor exercises in certain spots. They have a lot of equipment and various cardio and resistance machines. Jacob's ladder and the vertical rope machine are two unique but challenging machines not commonly found in a gym. Momentum does a lot with the community and has 'people perks' that provide members with discounts at associated businesses. We got in with the 'opening' membership price which is locked in for life, so that is definitely a bonus! Darren was originally the coach only here, but Steph joined as well once the membership numbers came up. Both are exceptional, with a genuine concern for goal setting, proper form and focus on weaknesses or injuries. They do offer package deals a few times a year that let you work one on one with the coach during half hour or full hour sessions. That is definitely a bonus if you have specific goals. Other locations do offer a selection of group classes, but those are an extra cost on top of monthly membership. There are also 'clubs' that members can join for more social interaction with other members. Also, they do organize social events to bring members from all locations together outside the gym environment. Overall very happy with Momentum, its coaches and the involvement they have with the community.

Club general - modern, big, well maintained, and clean. Change room has a huge hot pool (Jacuzzi like with bubbles) for relaxation which is great. Towels are ample in the shower area. There is a restaurant in the club. Front desk - friendly and warm. If I live close by in Mississauga, I would certainly join this club.

The fees are a little bit less than at other gyms and I think this is due to the size of it. There are a decent number of top rope and lead climbing routes but only a few auto belays. The bouldering area was very squished due to a wall that separates everything else from it. It just felt like it was hard to walk without tripping over people essentially. They had a lot of projects up that were ungraded on one side of the wall. This was kind of interesting because it kind let you forget about any sort of level restrictions. Some of the grading they did have was interesting - they had had a "V minus"...as in less than 0. I'm not sure how one determines something is easier than a 0. As for some housekeeping, the front has a lot of coat hangers and a bench area for you to put on your shoes. There is a sink in this area too for quick handwashing. There are lockers up a set of stairs. They don't do any walk-in sort of belay training - check for special dates. They had a board up where you could contact other members for a belay partner which was pretty cool. All the staff were friendly too. Seems like a nice gym to be a part of!
