Rather than take him to the dump, I took him down to this place just down the road and they fixed him and brought him back to life. They were friendly and polite as well as delivering a quick and inexpensive service. They are able to fix all types of hoovers - not just old ones - and can deliver the service quickly and without too much cost to you. If you want to keep your old hoover and don't want to splash out on a new one, you could definitely do worse than popping in here to see if they can help you out.

They used to be located in the old Springhill Shopping Centre or "Crazy Prices" as it was affectionately known. Since its closure the Vacuum Hospital has been located to Church Street in Bangor. Despite the name they are not a one trick pony down at the Vacuum Hospital, they will dabble in all household appliances including cookers and washing machines. But they do specialize is Vacuums or Hoovers as I call them, vacuum just seems a bit American and never looks like its spelt correctly when written down. They claim to be able to repair a vacuum/Hover on the same day, a very quick turn around. They are not issuing a challenge, so do not be taking a hammer to poor wee Henry. The hold various contracts with Bangor's business's so will no doubt be very busy, but get this you don't have to drag your hover down to Church Street, they will arrange a free pick up and estimate. The Vacuum Hospital is clean and tidy on the inside and you will not have to worry bout Henry coming out with MRSA from this hospital, he will come back with an appetite for dust and carpet dirt.

It is a good place to look into buying home appliances such as fridges, freezers, cookers and televisions if you want helpful customer service and items delivered to your door. They always seem to be offering sales and deals of one kind or another and I don't know precisely how competitive the prices are but as it can be so much easier to buy things from this type of shop rather than trekking to some vast outlet in a retail park I would give them good consideration. So far I have bought an iron here and inquired about a washing machine which I didn't need in the end. They have a few laptops which are less competitive but the good thing here is the convenience and the fact that it's easy to find someone to speak to if you are interested in buying anything who can tell you what you need to know.

As such they have tuned a negative customer who swore he would never shop there again into one that will always look here for my goods first in future Now as reviews go I don't think they get much better and I can now highly recommend them. Lets face it you can go anywhere for your items and anywhere can muck something up but I am reassured here that a mistake was corrected and done so in a sensible manner.

I saw a Samsung, 720p for a measly £329. Quite a bargain considering the brand and the picture quality. I ended up leaving it and finding a new Toshiba on Amazon for £289, which turned out to be a fabulous piece of kit. Rumour had it that a cash purchase would guarantee a substantial saving over most 'chain stores' so we decided it was well worth an investigation. Walking in just before closing time is never a great idea for a browse but the staff were more than happy to let us head upstairs and check out the fridge selection. The stock was a bit limited and as we were working to a specific size brief for the fridge (it had to fit into a pre-determined space) we unfortunately didn't find what we were after. Downstairs they had a huge selection of smaller electrical goods and at the back a wall of pretty sweet looking TV's. Someone had decided to play an Iron Maiden live DVD on one of them so it was a rather striking contrast to the surroundings of the shop, possibly a last ditch attempt to clear before closing time. Pros: Great staff, very helpful and pricing is very competitive. Cons: Not a huge selection.

The store is part of the euronics chain of electric store which means that it is able to competitively price its items. There is a good range of everything here, but everything is quite cramped, but I suppose that this doesn't matter as much when you are only looking in a certain part of the shop for a certain area. My mum has bought items from here like microwaves and has been able to take them back to get them repaired rather than having to spend another large amount of money on replacing an item.The service is great and personal and they will explain to people in terms they will understand about the key features of the prospective item. When you go in there is a lot more on offer than you would expect; looks quite small from the outside. Good range is on offer of in the main top brand names. May not always be the cheapest but I'd be surprise if you can't strike a decent bargain. The big plus is the sound advice and a dependable local service. Definitely worth a visit!
