So I smashed my phone on Saturday night (don't ask!) and I needed to get it foxed before I started…read moregetting glass splinters in my fingers. I immediately thought of the Repair Lounge down to the their catchy radio ads. First up, it's pretty easy to find, opposite the junction of Tates Avenue on the Lisburn Road. If you're driving park on one of the many side streets rather than trying to get a space on the Lisburn Road. The shop itself is minimal, you walk in and you are presented with platformed area, don't let this put you off, that's where the phone fixers sit. When I went in (about 3pm on a Monday) the two guys were noticeably busy, one on the phone and one in the middle of dissecting an iPhone but I waited patiently. Once they were free I asked how much and how long it would take to get my phone screen repaired. They then explained to me that it varied from £100 - £140 depending on the quality of the glass used for the screen. This didn't put me off as I expected it to be in that area. What did put me off was the wait - they explained that they had a huge back log of phones to repair and with Monday being delivery day I couldn't get it repaired straight away. This wait made me go somewhere else, but the experience wasn't bad at all. I understand that it's a skilled job to fix these devices and that Monday is their busiest day - especially after all the weekend smashes! Cool set up and really knowledgeable staff - I'll be back no doubt!

I have waited a few weeks, but dispensing this review will feel very good. I have stated elsewhere…read morethat my family do not like Curry's due to bad customer service in the past, and because of this my mother tried to buy our latest TV from here. Lord I wish she hadn't. We bought a Philips TV from here and received nothing but bother from about two weeks after the purchase. The unit had sound and green screen issues. When we tried to get a refund however, we were flat out rejected. We were also told we couldn't exchange it for another item, all we could do was try and get it repaired. It took them 3 weeks with our TV only to return it back to us unrepaired. After this we demanded a refund only to be told the same thing. They ignored our consumer rights and treated us like total rubbish. We have since taken the TV to a local technician who fixed our issues, but I will never come back again. It may have a catchy radio ad, but do you think you should trust a store that for its latest expansion rather than an electronics store it chose to open a discount mattress and bedding store? I hope they know more about them than TVs! Final conclusion? Sam's Yer Man for an overpriced piece of crap.

My wife and I just ordered our kitchen and needed to get our appliances sorted…read more Had a look online and noticed Appliances Online, Argos, Sam's yer Man and a place in Armagh. With the amount we were spending, we weren't that fussed on buying it all online. Visited the Sams Yer Man shop in Belfast. They were decent enough to deal with, the guy spent time going through different options of brands with us and we left with what we felt was a good quote for what we wanted. They told us when we were there that if we got quotes elsewhere they would better them. Well! I got a slightly better deal so gave sams yer man a call just to see what they'd say. They pointed out that *#/#*#,/? had quoted me for the wrong Oven. They gave me the model for the right Oven so that it would all line up with my Microwave and warming drawer. We found these guys really helpful, the guy we dealt with knew his stuff and in the end did end up giving it to us cheaper than our other quote. So for us, Sam was the man for a bargain! Oh, while we were there they told us that they now do beds and furniture, we had a look, some nice stuff, but we didnt need anything, but we'll definatley give them a go if we ever do need anything.
