It also has an array of what I would call 'classic' phones, but really they are just second hand ones. If you're looking for a cheap phone to take on holiday or one you're not afraid of losing, then I suggest going here before the bigger chain stores. The reason why I like this shop however is that 4urphone did me a great service when my Blackberry screen broke. I chanced my arm and tried to see if they could fix it before ringing up the insurance company and paying the excess. Not only did they fix my Blackberry screen, but they charged £20 less than my insurance company would have. As well as this they did it for me there and then. It was superb service.

However I had difficulties when trying to buy an unlocked phone here for my friend Andrew.He had a Blackberry curve that he wanted to use for 02,and I was his little errand boy,and he received three sinner that didn't work right. To me even the newest, top of the range models were essentially just the cheaper more basic variety in a party frock. Even phones such as the top end Sony 's and Nokias were glorified cameras cum poor man's media player cum phone. However, since technology has moved on and fantastic Android based phones have come on the market my interest has increased somewhat. I'm using a Blackberry at the moment but to be honest I'm already craving something with a little more guts and ability. I called in here a few weeks back to see what O2 could offer me and I wasn't exactly bowled over. I'm paying £20 a month at the moment with Orange and a similar deal with O2 on the HTC Desire was going to be £35. Little too rich for me.

I recently purchased a new phone with O2 and overall the experience was not as bad as I thought it would be. My sales associate was helpful and not too pushy and he also reduced my monthly bill by increasing my minutes allowance. This is one of many mobile network stores in the city but I think I'll return to this one in 18 months when need a renewal or want to examine handsets!!

With this in mind, I don't think that this is a particularly good shop to be honest. I have been in here lots of times with friends and found the entire service to be under par to be honest. There is nothing much to recommend about this place. I found the staff to be pushy, but under-informed. They knew all about what they wanted to sell but when asked about anything out of the ordinary they didn't really inspire me with confidence. The shop is clean and tidy and easy to get to but there isn't really much else to recommend about this place.

Their service is…read morealways excellent, they always have good offers and deals on, their customer service on the phone is brilliant and they do funky things like give you an online duck fishing game when you top up or they randomly send out sweets! However, I must take issue with this store. It is quite small and pokey, and for some reason always has phones missing on the wall so you can't check things out properly. Most phones are also models, so you can't interact with them and give them a test drive. Their selection is poor and the accessories are scarce too, but where this place really fails is on service. I spent 15 minutes at the till being practically ignored after informing them of my 02 phone's fault, then endured a bunch of questions which I had already gave them when I explained the problem, and rather than sorting my repair, which I was informed over the phone should have happened, they instead basically sat and tried to Google the answer to my problem! I was genuinely shocked by the lack of effort and professionalism. Go elsewhere to get sorted with 02; these guys were a bunch of cowboys!
