I called customer service for all of HD on the 7th and was told that the item was IN THE STORE just not yet ready for pickup. That the latest it will be ready would be the 8th or 9th. I just called TODAY, May 10th, because there has been no update on my order. The lady who picked up was rude and then told me she's placing me on a "brief hold". I was on hold for 13 minutes before someone finally picked up and said "hi yes we have located all of your items. They are all here. None of them have been scanned in yet though" to which I inquired, what "items" since I only had ONE item. The guy on the phone couldn't answer me and there was an awkward silence and then he just says "we will send you an email when it's ready for pickup" and hung up. Worst customer service at a hardware store I've ever experienced. Time and time again. This will be my LAST attempt at ever dealing with Home Depot. I'd rather spend my money at Lowe's. If I had it to do over. I would tell them NOT to scan for channels. Our TV already had the local channels stored. When they scanned, it lost all but a channel we seldom watch. A total slap in the face. 3rd couch: They claimed it was a "new, custom-ordered" Ashley Furniture couch -- but it was the exact same couch I had already seen on display, with legs already attached. Why would a brand-new custom couch come with the legs already attached? Ashley Furniture would never do this! They tried to pass off a display model as new, and now I'm stuck waiting on replacement legs because theirs were chipped during delivery and they acted like it was normal. Oh, and the bed frame I bought from them? Came with a weird smell. They dodge calls, you have to chase them for updates, and their communication is awful. And heads up: they also own Summer Furniture & Mattress Deals (3078 Summer Ave) and Lavish Home Furniture (4508 Summer Ave). Same affiliates. Same problems. Look at the critical reviews on Lavish home furniture. It's the same as mine. They are awful with delivery and service when something goes wrong. Bottom line: Once they've got your cash, the service and care disappear. Don't let them talk you into anything. Shop somewhere else. Run!!!!!! Now I am stuck with 1,100 worth of furniture that I hate.
