I scheduled with Brynn at Grey Havens because I had been following her on Instagram for a while, I loved her style, and her eye for details in nature. After we talked about what I wanted, I would need 2 appointments with her, at least 2 weeks apart, so I had to set a reminder to schedule each one a year in advance. I didn't mind the wait. Anytime my family asked what I wanted for Christmas, birthday, etc. I did tell them Gift Cards for Grey Havens, which softened the cost. It was definitely worth the wait. I'm in love with my tattoo. I spent lots of time chatting with staff at the shop during my visits, everyone is friendly. You can tell that this is a very positive environment, where all of the artists support each other.

(Wasn't aware this was cash only until after so I also had to use their ATM.) Professional piercer and clean place.. We adjusted the markings a few times before starting and my piercings are still not even or appropriately spaced. I messaged and asked for a refund for a portion of the piercing fee since I'll have to be removing them. I was told there are no refunds but I could come back and have them redone when they heal. The shop is very far out of my way (35+ mins) and I don't feel confident to have them re-pierced at the same place since i had to remove 3 out of the 4 piercings. Once Cody had posted new openings on Facebook in the spring of 2022 I knew I had to jump in. He had been a little late for our appointment day of, but had let me know about 30 mins before the appointment. So communication was really good! The price for the gumball and a reroll wasn't all too bad and I ended up with a really cool piece of work. The atmosphere was pretty relaxing, and after we had talked about pokemon and design, he worked on the design while I grabbed lunch. Conversations weren't all too bad, I'm awkward when it comes to keeping a conversation going with new people so any awkward pauses I chalk it up to me. Care instructions were pretty straightforward and its one of my most colorful tattoos, it healed really well! Can't wait to go back for another tattoo soon, and I also can't wait to check out their new laser removal machine. Will update my review when I get around to those.
