She was a referral from a good friend who used her for her Curaçao destination wedding in 2021. From Day 1 Sally was informative and all around just extremely helpful. She assisted me and my now husband, with a list of resorts to check out based on our wants for our destination wedding. After some research, we chose Secrets Maroma Beach in Cancun Mexico. Sally knew a beautiful beach was something that was a non negotiable for us, and she couldn't have recommended a better resort. We locked in our wedding date and room block with the help of Sally, and it was SO simple. She was extremely helpful to get us the pricing we liked for our guests. We visited the resort for a site visit in Sept 2023, and it was PERFECT. Once the room block was established, Sally assisted all of our guests with their questions, bookings and countless changes from day 1 up until they arrived for our wedding this past October. She made sure our contracts, bookings and every detail was exactly what was promised. With a destination wedding, the communication can be slow but she did not miss a beat when it came down to making sure it was what we wanted and the pricing, etc was correct. Persistence is key, and it is something she is extremely good at. Prior to the wedding, she sent out beautiful packages to each and every one of our guests to ensure they had all the paperwork and information they needed. This included a gorgeous itinerary, a packing list and details of the resort. Every guest said it was extremely helpful! She even met up with me and my husband prior to the wedding to provide our printed travel details, as well as have us a very thoughtful and generous gift. She not only helped us organize a large wedding with 74 guests, but also helped us extend our trip for our honeymoon and made sure we got all the little inclusions that were included in our booking. The wedding has come and gone, and it was EVERYTHING we could have dreamed of. It wouldn't have been possible without Sally. She is extremely kind, patient and just all around amazing. We will be using her, and Travel inc for all of our trips/vacations in the future.

I contacted Vinny and he and I chatted about my trip, and then we had a phone consultation where we went over the particulars of our trip. He found me a reservation at the Empire Hotel which was great! It was centrally located, had amenities we needed and was within my price range! Before we left Vinny also sent me discounted deals that he thought we would like! Vinny was available during our trip to help us out! I'm not someone who rushes to Yelp, but this stay earned the effort…read more I recently stayed at The Merchant for the second time, and whatever magic existed during my first visit is gone. The biggest issue: the hotel hosted a large, ticketed public event that completely took over the main lobby--with zero advance notice to guests. I woke up to a lobby packed with strangers and nowhere to sit or gather with my family. I've never stayed at a hotel that allows a public event to fully overrun its only common area without warning paying guests. And no, "just go somewhere else" isn't an option--there is nowhere else. There are no additional common spaces and no elevator. Since we were meeting elderly family members, climbing three to four flights of stairs to our room wasn't possible. The lobby being unusable wasn't a minor inconvenience; it was a dealbreaker. Operationally, things only went downhill. Check-in is at 4pm, but arrive after 5pm and there's no one on-site to check you in. Checkout, however, is rigidly 11am. Our room was never cleaned during the stay, despite leaving the "please clean" tag on the door. Because of the limited staffing hours, we couldn't even get fresh towels. Then there's the mouse. I saw one in the common area and notified staff. Nothing was done. Food is left out uncovered for guests, which I promptly avoided--because "boutique hotel meets rodent buffet" isn't really my vibe. What's also new: some sort of train or underground rumbling that shakes the building roughly every hour, offering a front-row seat to what feels like an earthquake simulator. If this were a budget motel or a Holiday Inn, I might shrug and move on. But this is a $500-per-night hotel, and at that price point, these issues are unacceptable. Until these problems are addressed, I wouldn't recommend staying here--and I certainly won't be returning.
