NOTHING UNPLEASANT about a trip to Halper Dentistry...I've been a patient of Ira's for over 30 years now. He is always professional, yet friendly and approachable. He takes his time on both his work and his explanation of any issues with my mouth or a procedure. He's got gentle hands and genuinely wants me to leave his office as a "satisfied customer." Sara, his daughter, more recently joined his practice. She is smart and personable. She did a required bonding repair on my front tooth at my last visit and restored my smile :) The hygenist and other staff are competent and caring. You cant compare a family run business to all the WestMeds, and medical practice groups that have opened up all around us. I had a chip in my front tooth on Christmas Eve. I felt like my plans were ruined and my mood and my insecurities plummeted immediately. I decided to take it upon myself and reach out to anyone and everyone who could possibly be open for an emergency session. To my dismay all places were closed, but I left voicemails in hopes that someone would return my call. Dr. Sara was amazing with our 6year old. I was so exctied to know she also takes children. It was the best experience for our child. My dentist for the past 35 years retired about six months ago and I was casting about for replacement. I'd heard about Halper from someone in my office so I made an appointment when I had a problem with one of my teeth. The problem turned out to be a cracked tooth but it was difficult to figure out exactly which tooth because nothing showed up on x-ray and the surrounding teeth hurt also.I must say I was blown away by the quality of care in the conservative way in which they approached my problem.
