Poor customer service. Would not honor warranty Evan after multiple attempts to fix cracked grout on new home. Luckily the sub contractor kept the GC Halls and they came out on thier own and fixed the problem. Don't ever but a home from Halls Contractor worst quality ever. read more

We just had a Hall home built in Driftwood Ranch, Phase 2, and are extremely happy! They built it in the timeline that was given. The final result is amazing. Everything that we asked for is definitely done well. We want to specifically thank Japhet and Andreina! They have taken care of us above and beyond. Thank you for making our dream home come true. read more

I own a house built by hall brothers. I stoped by the construction site 3 times a week. I ended it up signing a waiver that stipulated ,anything happened to me during construction, they will not be responsible, I signed it anyway.i had them correct about 20 major mistakes and at the end they still did a very poor job And any corrections that need it to be done. Hall brothers or the subcontractors never answer their phones until the warranty was over. What bothers me it's HOW DO THEY PASS INSPECTIONS. read more

Save yourself the headache and avoid the halls. They will give you run around on warranty items. They will blame the subcontractor and it's a never ending cycle of blame. The houses they build suck. Crooked walls, jacked up stucco job, windows crooked, holes in ceiling, trash everywhere, un level countertops. Garbage company just take a drive through their work sites. It's discussing!! read more

Had our home built in 2004 by this company as part of a development in the foothills. Pretty much regretted it ever since. Spent the last 10 yrs (literally) repairing everything from electrical to our most current project...the roof! Once we finally get the roof fixed, we have cracked stucco all over the front and back of the house....yaaay...can't wait to spend more money on a house that isn't even 20yrs old yet. Classic case of "Wish I knew then, what I know now". Find another company to build you a place that won't turn into a money pit. NONE OF THIS IS EXAGGERATED. read more

Being able to purchase my first home ever should be an exciting moment but instead it was a nightmare. If you want to buy a new construction home please make sure it was not getting built by halls general construction. The house was not completed on the date that they promised in fact it was pushed back numerous times. I kept getting the run around. Let's just say After closing on the house, there was a punch list that still needed to be fixed was either not fixed or poorly fixed. I also had other issues that was not on the punch list. Crack in my driveway that was repaired poorly, told Nikki the realtor numerous time that I was unhappy with the repair she told me that the foreman did not want to discuss anything with me until the end of 1st year? When my 1 year warrant is over!!!! That doesn't make sense. Stucco came out by the garage she tells me the contractors went by my house but no one was home. Why are they showing up without calling. When they should make an appointment just like everyone else I'm at work too. Very disappointed with my first home. DO NOT BUY A HOME BUILT BY HALLS CONSTRUCTION!!! read more

Hall's general contracting is a long term business with many developments in Yuma. Park West is the particular development for review. It is an attractive development with a choice of different style homes. In addition, the buyer can pick from a list of some add ons to the particular floor plan. The buyer will never have an opportunity to talk with the builder: before, during or after the build. All communication is through their realtor. Quality is poor. Little attention to detail. No communication. Sloppy work. In the end, no real cleaning and final home has paint drips on floor. Areas of missed stucco, missed spots that needed painting, granite not level, cabinet trim lighter than cabinet, and concrete patio has chunk out of the side on the back patio. Some items fixed but not all. These homes are economical but quality is not there. read more

I have a l home built by this guy in 1983-84. I was new to the area and didn't know the reputation of local builders. I ended up buying the spec home that was already completed in Mesa Del Sol. After moving in I discovered a number of issues and one of which required adjustment. The builder left the threshold on the sliding glass door in the master bedroom empty! When you look at the sliding glass door, there was a 4-inch x 6-FOOT gap where you can reach your arm through. The aluminum frame was just hanging there with zero support underneath! It took a while for them to accept responsibility but when I threaten to take it to an attorney, they somehow agreed that it should be fixed. Later I discovered the leach lines were less than 10 feet long and the entire system had to be replaced. I also discovered that they didn't properly frame the roof. This resulted in the roof sagging between the dining room and living room. A new bearing wall had to be installed. The number of major issues with the home could not have been done without approval of the Yuma County Building Inspector. read more

Even when their homes are speck homes, stucco is cracking, doors/ windows have gaps and wood trim is falling apart. Awful quality. We walked away in shock with what we saw in two of their new homes. They are cheap in price and deplorable in quality. read more

We are looking for a home in Yuma and like the Ravines location but the construction at this location is awful. The homes look like 60 day wonders absolutely no pride in the finished home. read more

We put our earnest money down on our home in Ellington in August of 2017. We finally got to close on March 30, 2018, after being pushed back 4 times. We were in such a rush to get in that we agreed to let them come in and finish the punch list after we moved in... we are technically still waiting, but the year is over, so now we just are stuck with this home that was supposed to be our forever home. We waited and struggled all of our lives to be able to finally afford this home, and it's literally a piece of Crap. the stucco is falling off the outside, the carpet was put down with missing padding underneath, the vinyl floor covering has air pockets underneath (Yuma Carpet and Vinyl) came out and fix it once, but told us we would have to move all the furniture to have them fix the carpet problem. We finally caulked around all of our outside door fixtures, because they were never coming back. We have broken cement in the walkway, and driveway. we have a big crack in our stucco down the southside of the house, hoping it's just settling and doesn't disenegrate further. We called each of the sub contractors as well as Hall Brothers and no one ever came back out except for the ones mentioned, and electricians (we had a problem with one wall that kept knocking out the breaker) the painter (he came back 3 times) and finally we said whatever... Don't rush, don't buy from them... yeah they are inexpensive homes, and now we truly know why... guess like father like sons... read more

they build you whatever they want with your ideas put in mind. they hire subcontractors they don't even seem to specialize in their trade is ridiculous half ass builds. i do construction so theres no fooling me when it come to phase one of building to seeing a finished product. once you pay them. they're gone before you know it. i rate this company 2/10. theres better builders out there.consider halls last resort. remember that buying a house is the biggest investment in life. don't let halls ruin it for you read more
