Her 2010 Corolla never let her down. In 2020, I paid $5000 for it, used. Six years, 180,000 miles,…read moreevery New England winter. It just ran. The air conditioning gave up a while back. Some transmission fluid found its way out. This year it needed a new starter. But it never once left her stranded. It always got her home safely. So when it was time to sell it, I wanted no part of Facebook Marketplace or Auto Trader. I know how that goes. No-shows. Lowballers. People who agree on a price and then discover forty new problems with the car once they're standing in your driveway. We tried CarMax instead. My daughter entered the car's information online and got a quote back immediately: $1,700. The same process booked us an appointment on the spot. No phone tag, no waiting for a callback. I assumed the number would shrink once someone actually looked at the car in person. I was bracing for the dealership version of a used car sale, the "well, once we take a closer look" routine. It never came. Our appointment was noon. Nobody spoke to us until 12:20, and only then because my daughter walked up to the desk and asked. That's the one place the system slowed down. Once we were in it, the same high-tech process picked up right where the online quote left off. Christian entered the car's information into the computer, and a buyer approved the $1,700 almost immediately. Not a negotiation. A confirmation. Twenty five minutes after sitting down, we walked out with a check for exactly the number we'd been quoted online. No haggling. No inspection surprises. No "let me talk to my manager." Just a kid's first car, 6 years and 180,000 miles later, turning into a check for the exact number a computer promised us before we ever left the house. If selling a car to them is that easy, that high-tech, that comfortable, I'm curious what buying one looks like. All the usual dealership theater, the games, the pressure, the runaround, might just not exist over there. And they've got a massive inventory to back it up. Next time, I'm the buyer.

It was not the fault of ocean Chrysler however, when requesting that the remaining oil changes and tire rotations , I prepaid for approximately $400 Could be transferred to my other vehicle. I was told NO! they were car specific so basically I prepaid for oil changes that they will not give me. I feel like that is very dishonest and should have been disclosed. The reason was company policy and their computer would not let them do it. I'll never go back there just out of principle. NEVER again. I gave them multiple chances while I was on the phone and I told them I was going to post this and they had just lost a very loyal customer. They really were not concerned They must have more customers than they can handle. Or want.

The salesperson and my entire experience buying the vehicle was not an issue and the truck was everything I had hoped for 2+ years. I had an issue with DEF being introduced to my fuel by another party, BIG problem. Brought the truck here to be fixed in mid August. Despite insurance covering the repairs it still took almost a month to get the repairs done. Literally picked the truck up 2 days before I was scheduled to relocate to Maine for a job opportunity. I understand supply chain issues so I don't necessarily have an issue with the length of time the repair took, only that it was down to the wire. Fast forward 1 month, when I get in the truck on a Monday morning to go to work (had recently driven the truck to Massachusetts that weekend and back with no issues) and the truck will not start. Indicator on the dash says water in fuel. Had not done anything with DEF since getting the car back from Tasca and had been filling at the same gas station since moving to Maine but here we are. Was able to get the truck to a local to me large Mopar dealership and the verdict was that the injectors were not properly programmed when replaced and the fuel rail was not replaced at all which I was told (and also saw the print out from Chrysler) is standard procedure with this type of job, thus causing the fuel system to be contaminated again and the entire 10K+ job needed to be redone. Obviously insurance will not cover faulty work done by a third party and the local dealer is unable to warranty the parts due to the critical step being missed. So I reached out to Tasca to see if they would make it right. I spoke at first with the service advisor Jose whom I had dealt with during the initial repairs. The service manager from the dealership here in Maine had also been in touch with Jose to try to get this taken care of. Both he and I were told that Tasca was not responsible and I was basically out of luck. I escalated to the service manager Gregory and after leaving multiple messages was more or less told the same story and that either the dealership I have the truck at now could somehow warranty bad parts (even though the parts themselves did not fail, but were ruined due to poor workmanship) or I was going to have to pay out of pocket. Long story longer - this shop will not stand by their work and you will have to have their work redone by another shop and will be stuck with the bill for another 10k+ in repairs. Their website has this commitment listed "We humbly pledge to continue the Tasca Family Commitment that YOU WILL BE SATISFIED" I, for one, am not satisfied.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE LOW LIFES!!!!!…read more Do not EVER step foot in this dealership, if you do you're going to get railroaded, treated like a schmuck, and given nothing of what you asked for. I called Grieco Honda on a Saturday and said I was trading in my Honda Ridgeline but I was interested in a Toyota Tundra that their sister dealership had in East Providence. I was told on the phone that it was no issue and that the truck would be transferred over to the dealer and I could come down Sunday morning (I live TWO HOURS AWAY). I drove down Sunday and the truck was no where to be seen. I had a 12:30 appointment and at 1:00pm, the sales manager Mark came over and said "oh we're super busy but someone is coming" and then assigned me to Alfred, who was with another customer. They finally saw me at 1:30pm, an hour late. I asked THREE TIMES to see the truck since "we have to go to Providence but the test drive can be the ride over here." They spent 45 minutes talking trade in and price even with me saying I would discuss it after I get to actually see the truck!!! Alfred finally said okay to going to Providence and then took another 20 minutes to get a car so we could drive over. We finally got to Providence 45 minutes later only to watch someone driving the truck out of the lot and buying it. I never even got to test drive it! Got back to the dealer and gave Mark an earful because I had never been treated so poorly. He said how sorry he was and that he would call me Monday to find me the same truck. He called me and said they would search the country to find it because it was sold out from under me. I found the exact truck at the same price in Oregon and Mark had me send it to him. He said they would call them right then. That truck sold over the weekend so I called to ask if Grieco had reached out AND THEY NEVER CALLED FOR THAT TRUCK!!! Mark and Alfred are TERRIBLE. They and Grieco Honda are the reason people hate car dealerships. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!!!!!!! And I know the blanket "oh call our GM and he wants to hear from you" is coming, don't bother. I called the GM and he never called back. GRIECO HONDA IS THE WORST!!!

I had my Volvo serviced and they had the car for almost 2 weeks saying they didn't have the part it needed. I doubt they are even genuine Volvo parts at this point. I was in Denver, CO for a few weeks while my car was still at this dealership because the parts still didn't come in. I returned from Colorado and I was appalled and shocked when I saw my Volvo after it was serviced and driven back to our house from my husband picking it up. I noticed right away it was filthy with oil and grease all over the entire inside of the car. It was all over the steering wheel, on the dashboard, the middle console the gear shift and their shoes also had left black grease all over my ivory covered floor mats. They even kicked and left their dirty shoes on the inside door frame to open the door while getting out. The worst damage was they scrapped the passenger inside door upper frame with what I can't even tell what they dragged across it but it took the finish right off leaving a white color scrapes. They also damaged the hood with a tool they apparently clamped probably the entire 2 weeks they had my car on while the hood was open and it actually dented the hood. It dented it in 2 different locations on the hood. I couldn't believe what I was looking at. It was also driven over 44 miles and I don't understand why it would even need to be driven so far. There were pieces of large thick broken glass on the drivers side floor mat which I was also shocked to see. Keep in mind I always keep my car pristine and it did not look like this at all when I received it back. It wasn't vacuumed and it didn't have the paper they should have put down so my mats would have been protected from the filthy mess they left with the black shoe marks and scrapes with black grease all over both floor mats. They didn't even bother to vacuum the mess they made. I didn't have any dirt on the mats when I dropped it off for the service and I certainly didn't have black shoe grease marks all over the floor mats. I wasn't even able to get the grease off some of the steering wheel and the rug part of the drivers side floor as they stepped on the rug part of the floor that wasn't covered by the mats for whatever reason. I can tell you with certainty that I will not ever be bringing my car back in for service. To charge us over 4,000 to do the service and to get it back in the condition it was is something I have no words for how angry and disgusted I was. I am also looking for a new car and I can tell you it won't be from your dealership because of how my car was damaged how it looked after it has been brought in numerous times for service and I was utterly shocked when I opened the door. I wasn't even able to touch the steering wheel because it had to be wiped down from the black grease. The entire inside of the car had black finger smears all over the inside and it took me hours to clean it. I wasn't even able to get it all off. I am so angry because I try to take such good care of my car and it shows by how clean I always have it. Now I can't even clean it because I am unable to get the scrapes and black marks off from some of the areas of the inside. They damaged the hood with the tool they clamped on and probably left on the hood clamped the entire 2 weeks they had the car. The passenger side door was completely scraped with who knows what. It almost looks like they tried to damage it on purpose. Did they have a tool in their hand when they tried to close the door?? How does that even happen?? I am the only one who drives my car and I never even have anyone in it so no one even uses the passenger side door. Who the heck even worked on my car??? I am now even skeptical they put in real Volvo parts. I will have to take it to another mechanic to see if what they fixed and the parts they needed were even real Volvo parts. I will find out. The damage to the hood and the passenger side door is so obvious. I noticed it immediately. I have always taken really great care of my car and I have never seen it look so bad from their negligence. My car is always pristine and very clean. Obviously these were not genuine Volvo employees. No paper to protect the floor mats. Damage to the hood and the passenger side panel and grease and scuff marks from oil and grease all throughout the entire inside of the car. It was so disgusting and gross when I opened the door after I got it back. I was absolutely shocked. I haven't heard back from them yet and I doubt I ever will. I took photos of all of the damage that I will post as well. Too bad for them as both my husband & I are looking to buy 2 new cars and I can tell you 100% they just lost 2 sales because I would never think of buying from this dealership.
