Horrible service on three counts:…read more 1) Without my permission, he replaced the seconds hand on my watch . He was suppose to just swap out the old mechanical movement and order/install a new movement. That's it. But when I picked it up, he informed me he ran into a problem of the original seconds hand not fitting onto the new movement. So he installed a different-looking seconds hand that he had sitting in his spare parts bin. That wasn't cool. 2) He was suppose to locate my original seconds hand and return it to me. He never did this. 3) He was suppose to locate my original date wheel and return it to me (because the new date wheel is of really bad quality). He never did this. My impression of him is that he's extremely absent minded. In both of my follow-up visits he forgot who I was and what was previously discussed. He never telephoned me like he said he would. That was just lip service. It's a good thing my watch was a bargain brand Swiss watch. It wasn't very expensive. God help anyone who brings a higher priced watch to him for repair.

The crown seemed to be stuck like it was over wound .I payed him just the same . Just so i do not bring Louie any more watches .You can not make up a story like this but it is true

My elderly parents brought my grandmother's watch to this shop to be repaired so they could give it…read moreto me as a wedding gift. The watch remained with the shop for approximately four months, and in the end, the repair was not completed. When my parents asked for the watch back, they were told they would have to pay the full repair price even though the watch had not been repaired. They offered to compensate the owner for his time and effort, understanding that some work may have been attempted, but he refused and would not return the watch unless they paid the full amount originally quoted for the repair. Because the watch has significant sentimental value, my parents felt they had no choice but to pay in order to get it back. The entire experience was frustrating and upsetting, especially given their age and the emotional importance of the watch. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this business. If you leave a valuable or sentimental item here, make sure you have a clear written agreement regarding costs and what happens if the repair cannot be completed.

So I ended paying him $20 to ruin my watch. My only recourse is small claims court and it's not worth my time. DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY. He is essentially greedy and incompetent. Aaron
