My wife and I have been using Associated Piping for over 20 years and, all in all, its services and…read moreservice people have all been great. We've used the for toilet, shower hardware and sink hardware installation. No complaints. We've also used it for inspection and repair of our tankless/on-demand water heater. Again, no complaints. One thing, though, is we were supposed to receive a quote on a new water heater and we never got one. Have also used the to snake out a backed up pipe via the outside clean-out. Again great service. Only once did we get a serviceman who kind of seemed like he didn't want to "help" and recommended we get new kitchen sink hardware. Prices have always been fair/reasonable.

My husband argued with them, the manager gave us a discount price $400. They sold me a shower set that missing parts and doesn't even match! This is "top of the line" according to them. They came back and bought the parts put on, after 2 gentle use by my kids, the sprout came off. I emailed them, they told me it should not put too much pressure on? How much a 6 years old can put on? Just normal use. They are not warranty it. What a "great" company! I'm writing this , so no more people will get screwed by them. I learned my lesson. Hope you don't have to.

I was expecting to have to wait a week, maybe a week and a half. I was quite impressed! The plumber they sent, Jeff, arrived right on schedule. Very friendly and professional. He completed my service promptly, I was billed and that was that. I was able to pay with a credit card, which was quite convenient. These folks are absolutely excellent. I'll be contracting with them for future plumbing needs. I highly recommend them!

STAY AWAY!!!!! Appointment set 10 AM, tech tried to come…read moremuch earlier. Tech seemed irritated and hurried, like my service call was inconvenient. 1. Tech replaced a tub faucet without adjusting the water line length, leaving a 1/2 space between wall and faucet. This required additional adjustment by another worker. 2. Tech did not verify a disconnected dishwasher line valve was turned completely OFF after verifying the line was clear. Slow leak caused damages over several days requiring repairs by other workers. 3. Tech was rough with cabinets in kitchen requiring some repairs. 4. The office manager denied all company responsibility, and refused to let me speak with the owner. This was a horrible experience overall. Charged me $180 and caused 10 times that amount in additional repairs to be completed by other COMPETENT workers!

Smartron has been excellent, thank you…read more First, I'm in California and my property is in Florida. Smartron coordinated with the utility company to unlock the panels and arranged inspection at the end. They took care of everything. We had a problem with double taps on an electric panel. Smartron upgraded the necessary panels and fixed the double tap issues. As you can see from the pictures the work is very clean and organized. I will definitely call Smartron again if I need anymore electrical done in the area. Also, Smartron made sure there were smoke detectors located throughout in order to pass inspection. I'm very impressed. Thank you.

I give it two stars because the guy was nice and the lady who booked the appointment was nice. For some reason, he thought I was going pay 1k on the spot to have him fix "loose wires" and $2500 to fix the lose wires with a whole house surge protector. And for 10K, I can have all the above done plus rewire "back stabbed outlets". He wasn't going to insure his work without replacing all the back stabbed outlets. Spoke with three electricians this morning who are laughing at these prices. The tech wouldn't email me the estimates because of "competition" but I think it's because the prices are so outrageous that he literally didn't want proof of them in anyone's hands. I did get the two lowest estimates that I described above sent to my email... he'd only send two out of the five or six he wrote up on his ipad sitting in my kitchen. Just really bad optics. I'd find an hourly electrician of I were you. I felt I was in a two hour sales call that I needed to pay for. The whole thing was just really bizarre and there were a lot of "firsts" for me that Ive never seen from any trades company.

Little did I know that the parts I needed are usually in their truck. I had to call them back, because they shut off the water and didn't turn it back on. In the meantime a friend was able to turn it back on. So I called and told them never mind. All of a sudden I see someone in my shed doing something and it was them. Never let me know that they came back. Said they were coming back the next day. I called because I did not hear from them and they said it would be around 3-4. Then I got another call that said around 6. I cancelled them, They were supposed to come out originally on Saturday and I got a call that said nobody was available. I am still waiting for my money that I paid them. I was required to put down a 50% deposit. Linda C

I was in a horrible bind. My mobile home had blown a water line under the master bathroom, and…read more"Hers and His" quoted me $12,000 for a repair job, which was insane to me. As it turns out, I was sold this home two years ago with polybutylene piping; something that no one mentioned to me from the seller's camp should be replaced immediately! And they were NOT going to repair my pipe unless I completely re-piped the entire mobile home. Oh, and they wanted $12,000, please. Fortunately, I had Home Serve and they not only provided me with this first rate business called Plumbing Wizard, but they actually came in lower than anyone else for the actual bid! Blaine and his associate David were two of the nicest people I have met in a long time. And they are not shrinking violets! I don't think there is 18 inches of room under my mobile home, but none of that bothered them! No claustrophobics, they!! Nay! They had it all done in one day! I've got two bathroom tubs and shower combos, four sinks (one in the kitchen), and two commodes, as well as the washer and dryer assembly... With a very minimum of any kind of drilling, they went all day long as hard as they could go - even during that pounding rain we had on the 13th of July... and before dark, I was back in business with great water and good pressure throughout! I was enormously impressed by their manner, the way they explained everything so the layperson could understand, and the fact that they delivered what they promised! I will be using them for anything I need in the future! And somehow... I don't think any service calls in the future will be related to the water piping in my home!

for this work either. Please note that when mastic is used properly and cured it poses no danger…read morewhen it is dry and stays in place. This is not the case here. The aggressive manner in which it was used described below has been cracking, peeling, and forming chalk dust substance because of bad excessive application! The molecular structure changes to a very dangerous respirable dust that is not only dangerous but can cause life threatening complications when inhaled. Beware!!!! If I could give this company a zero I would. They took advantage of my parents in their 80s. Last October they trusted and used this company to put all new ductwork in to their home. The duct work was all new and these men decided put thick layers of mastic all over the inside of the ac system from inside the junction boxes, to all over the supply plenum, to the entire return box, all over the boot- so much so that the fins for the registrar are stuck in place with gobs of mastic. For weeks after installment pieces of this large mastic was coming down. Extremely toxic to breath in dust form and instead of taking accountability for a workmanship malfunction that we were all breathing, they sold my parents a halo device and denied any relation to the mastic. The recommended doing more work and replacement, more money! Now we have cracking mastic in dust form entering the home and it's making us all sick. This product when dried and crumbling is like breathing cement dust. We are all deterioting for this complete disregard for human life and they have never returned to even try to help the problem much less care about our health with such a careless process after making money hand over fist on my family. It's on our clothing, in the air we breathe, in our stomach , on our skin. We don't even know if they worked on a home with asbestos, black mold, etc and used this same bucket of mastic from that kind of job - to the. do overkill on brand new duct work that didn't need it. We are all increasingly getting sicker and sicker as we actively see all of this cracking, peeling, and dispersing all through what is supposed to be to be our fresh air. At any given time we cough blood and find ourselves in severe pain. I myself have been to the er countless time with respiratory distress from inhaling all of this. They also knocked over the dryer vent in the attic to the roof while replacing duct work and that was left like that for months until we had them return because of said complaints above - they tried to blame it on a man that is extremely professional that cleaned the dryer vent months prior to them even coming out or meeting us. This man has a picture of how he left everything intact and connected. These guys will blame anyone and anything for the damage they have created. These men are should be out of business for what they have done and be held responsible for all health damages they created. Stay away from this company at all costs. My family is suffering because of the poor workmanship and in proper over use of thick mastic (overkill) everywhere - that never cured properly. Take precaustion and don't use this company! We are suffering a tremendous cost (our health) at the hands of these people. These people have ruined our quality of life, the safety of our home, and this is no small issue. I can't stress enough that you will be sorry for using them and the lasting effects it could have on your breathing and health. We have had the dust that is coming down constantly tested and it's 100% dried mastic from what they did. It's shameful.this is just little glimpse of what we are breathing everyday. It's criminal. This is situation isn't over - and justice will prevail.
