Every time I've been to this laundromat it's well taken care of. The woman that I've seen working is very nice and is always either cleaning or cheerfully helping a customer. There's a lot of room to move around, places to sit and wait if you like and an area where your kids can sit comfortably if you need. I think it's reasonable compared to other laundromats and I'd rather spend my money at a family owned establishment also! I've been coming to this place off and on for about 30 years. I left a fairly bad review in the past. Since that review was posted the issues I had have been resolved. My laundry is folded properly and consistently. Like items are sorted and stacked together making it much easier to put them away. They are using the both liquid fabric softener and dryer sheets as I asked them too. So now my clothes are fluffy, soft and smell nice for quite some time. It seems Yelp reviews do make a difference. I am quite pleased with the results. read more

ok on the subject of Laundromats what does one want a clean place clean machines dryers that actually work reasonable prices a door that opens by itself...yes think about it as your carrying big sacks of laundry This place fits all these requirements 3$ for a regular size top front loader with an agitator 3.75 for bigger machine no agitator $5 for a double load front loader no agitator I like that they ask you not put gross things into their nice 3.75 machines meaning only clothes no towels rugs and gross pet things there are some things you should never think about when your washing your unmentionables in machines that who knows what they washed before I wash everything on HOT and yes their hot water is nice n HOT past experience at other places has taught me to always feel your doors to see if the water really is hot the dryers really work .25 for 7 minutes no games with these dryers you put your .25 in you get hot time you can add time no problem just remember to press start (another place charges .50 to start then you have to keep up with the .25 or its charges you .50 to start) bleach BUT NOT this shop and this is one reason why this is a 5 star laundry a few high back chairs clean bathroom a vending machine with typical snacks and how about this an honest to goodness dry cleaner too its a fine place to come do laundry they open at 7 am I've been there early its much less crowded read more

I'll be upfront, this place totally sucks. It is crazy expensive to wash your clothes here. Their "normal" sized washers (which are smaller than normal) cost $4.25 to wash. Costs at least 4$ to dry. They have more old gross chairs than my grandma. Floors are cracked and scuffed. Carpet is stained and fowl looking. Sat down to wait for my laundry to finish washing, had one of my feet up on their scuffed, old, and beat up coffee tables, an employee rudely asked me to take my foot off the table. Really? It's a big deal that I have my foot on the coffee table when the place is already a dump? Trash bins were full of people trash and recycling. Not to mention over by where they had all the arcade games and vending machines, they had this touch screen monitor where you could legitimately play a penthouse game. So inappropriate. Definitely do not recommend, I know there has to be better, cleaner, and definitely cheaper places to do your laundry. Will not be coming back here. read more

The Sunday employee is late every week to open the laundromat. I don't do laundry every Sunday but the 4 times I have in the past 5 months he's been 10-20 minutes late opening. Owner needs to figure this out. read more

i have been here a few times. it is not the prettiest laundromat, but there were a lot of open machines, the inside is clean, and the people that work there are very nice and helpful. And super capacity washers, great for cleaning beddings. Oh and automatic doors! they are also a dry cleaners. i have noticed they have a drive up window for your dry cleaning. read more

Totally rude and follow you around to tell you to move your laundry to another machine...which is twice as much money. Tells me my load is too big ..I put in three pairs of jeans. I don't think so. Ok so I have been coming to this place off and on for over 35 years. I use to come here with my mom as a little girl. As an adult I will come here to do large comforters and recently because my washer bRome. The place is the same disgusting place it has been for 35 years. Today is my last time here- every time I come here the employees yell at you about being done before they close. Really-I came to switch out my clothes from the washers to the dryers at 4pm and the scummy man working there said- Um we are closed- I said really he said yes I close at 5, last load is at 3:30. I said oh well I have clothes in the washers and he said I know they have been done since 2pm at which point he points to all my clothes in wheeled baskets and he tells me I had to take them out because people needed to use the washers. Mind you there are about 50 washers and I am one of three people here right now. The equipment is outdated and there are mice that you can catch squiring around. I know I know you are all thinking well why go there- I have gone here because of it's convenient location but like I said theirs is my LAST time the place is disgusting and I would rather wash my clothes on a washboars then have some scummy employee bitch at me because he wants to leave on tme. read more

Brought clothes just to dry and would have only been minutes since our home dryer broke down. Was told they were closed at 3:30pm when signage and online indicates this location is open later than 3:30pm. This is not the first time we were turned away for an early closing. Very rude older woman works there. She has the worst customer service skills I have seen in some time. I tried to pay my bill with quarters (from their machine) and she wouldn't let me. They have a laundromat there, which would tell me that people there actually need quarters. Plus it's money, plain and simple. It's overpriced as well. Shocked and offended. I used this laundry mat years ago, and was happy, although it was run down even then. Today ensured i never return: in trying to wash a comforter, the soap machine was out of order, then the washer machine took $6.50, but wouldn't start up. When I reported this to Christine, the "help", she basically accussed me of lying!!!! She stated the machine never did that before, and if it was broken she could tell by the screen. I suggested that she may want to consider the machine had issues. She said I'd have to talk to the owner if i wanted my $6.50. She even called the owner and talked to them herself but never put me on the phone. When she hung up she told me there was nothing I could do except to talk to the owner on Monday. Today is Saturday. She wouldn't even give me the phone number or the name of the owner. Fortunately a very very nice Christian woman, Cathy, was working in the dry cleaning section. Cathy gave me 6.50 out of her own money to start up my washing machine, for me. I hope Cathy is rewarded for her great customer service and demeanor. I also hope that Christina is reprimanded and/ or fired. she was just playing with her cell phone in the back room while Cathy was doing all of the work. I'm appalled that a grown woman, Christina, would treat me in such a manner. I have never been so humiliated in my life. The way she spoke to me in front of a crowd of people was intolerable. Although this location is quite shabby I have always enjoyed coming to this laundromat. I won't be back after this treatment I hope the owner reads this and strongly considers making changes!! Something tells me that if they really were on that phone call with Christina and denied her assisting me with their broken machine, that they're not really concerned about their customers. I have been coming to this Cleaners for the last two year and I will continue to do so. They have great hours and reasonably prices. They are great with costumer and friendly. On the plus side, their dry cleaning service is great. Things are well pressed and perfectly laundered. The pull up window is great so you don't have to get out when it's cold with the little ones in the car. But onto the negative - I don't think I've ever encountered more rude people in my life. Just called them wanting to ask a question about their services when the washer and dryer in my apartment complex was down. When the phone was answered no name was given, no confirmation I had even called the right place was given, there was only a rude "how can I help you" in an annoyed, flat tone. I asked how she was doing today to which her only reply was "how can I help you" again in the same flat, annoyed tone. Perhaps not a great way to drum up new business for first time callers. I wish them the best of luck but I would prefer to take my business to a place that is less annoyed with interested customers. I can only imagine what it is like to actually go into the store. Terrible place to go to. The older man that works there has terrible anger issues. He was swearing and yelling at another person while I was there simply because they were getting change out of the machine. He made such a huge scene. This is very embarrassing for the whole establishment and made me not feel comfortable enough to go there ever again. After today, my friends and I will never do our laundry there again. read more

We recently moved to the area and read that Hallmark was rated as the best dry cleaner in Ross Township as stated in the McKnight Journal. After seeing the results, I would not recommend going there and I cannot believe they were rated best dry cleaner. Of course, all cleaners have signs that say once you remove your clothing from their store, they are not responsible. My husbands suit and shirts were wrinkled. Of course, we had to suck it up because we didn't notice it until he took them out of the bags. Today, he went to put on one of his shirts that he has had laundered and ironed by another dry cleaner numerous times in the past and the shirt sleeves were at least 2 inches shorter. Although they say they are not responsible, I will be putting a call in to their store. I have never written a review for any other business in the past, but this especially upset us. read more

This cleaner destroyed leather trim on my jacket and did not even call me back after I returned it for resolution. When I checked a few days later they indicated because it is not new they would not compensate me for the damage. They claimed it was wear and tear which it was not- was perfect when dropped off. Male worker makes me afraid to go there now. When I was the this past Sunday, he swore and yelled at at least 2 very calm customers while I was there. The first one was a lady that asked if she had enough time to do her laundry. He proceeded to yell at her and tell her she didn't have enough time and to not even try to put her laundry in. The other time was at a man who was getting change out. He yelled and swore at him as well, telling the man he was full of "bullsh*"* for needing $10.00 worth of change, and that he didn't need his or any other customers service and said "we don't care about who comes in, we don't need them". if you plan on using their dry cleaning service, make sure they are clean, take pictures of your garments before you go, and be sure to have someone available as an independent observer/3rd party to inspect them before giving them to Hallmark - they don't stand behind their work and when you try to get some resolution-they don't provide any because you don't frequent the cleaners often enough for them to care-they claim they don't mark the garments when they are cleaned but continue to point out that you don't use them frequently as a dry cleaner and that you are just tryin to take advantage of them - easy to understand why they aren't used much as a dry cleaner - I guess at Hallmark integrity is a function of revenue - the staff, other than the general manager has always been very helpful and polite - the General Manager, well let's just say not so much - she has plenty of attitude but one less customer read more
