I had been using this spot for a while, it seemed okay aside from the broken coin machines, the occasional homeless person wandering around, and screaming children. I tried looking up this service on google because I was looking for a laundromat near me and I don't have a car. The address directed me to their pickup service which is NOT a laundromat. Yet they have pictures showing that it is a laundromat. All these comments are really misleading. If you have changed to a pickup and delivery service ONLY I don't understand why you wouldn't completely change the business (or at least remove the pictures of a laundromat) on here so people are not misled. All the old comments are deliberately misleading and most of the pictures are misleading to people who are looking for a nearby laundromat. read more

The laundromat is under new ownership and has been completely remodeled. New washers and dryers, automatic door, off street parking lot, clean restroom. Open 7 days a week from 6am till 11pm. Was the worst but now it's first. read more

They treat the homeless like they're not human. I was treated like I was going to snort some crack in the bathroom, staying there more then 10 minutes. I was treated like I was going to steal something, sitting in the back chair cleaning up my stuff. Then they threatened to call the police because two consecutive 35 minute loads shouldn't take an hour and a half. They're dehumanizing and I will never go there again. read more

This laundromat changed its name but is still under the same management. I guess their reputation got so bad they needed to rebrand themselves hoping to deceive people that the "new" business is better. The washers still don't rinse well and dryers still don't dry well. You keep inserting coins for ever to dry your clothes. Nobody is available to help you. They just have a phone number to call in case you need assistance but no one answers and when you leave a message no one ever calls you back. One time when at the "new" business I saw the owner/manager of the "old" business. I asked him where I could get change for the machines. He told me that he doesn't work there. I was confused because I always saw him managing the "old" business and his behavior that day suggested he was still in charge although he seemed to try to do it discreetly. I stopped going there again and went back to the laundromat in Shadyside. The only reason I decided to use their business is that they are not far from where I live. Don't go there! Save your money and avoid the aggravation by going somewhere else!! read more

Been to this laundromat several times. Had no issues with the machines although i now know which machines work better for me. The owner was very nice and we had enjoyable conversations. The other staff i encountered were also very nice. They even agreed to let me bring tge magazines i already read and leave them for other people. Lots of food places close by and giant eagle an aldi in waking distance - if you are leaving - courtesy - let them know. They even provided tennis balls for the dryers when i needed to dry my comforters . i have used commercial type washers and dryers many times sometimes by choice sometimes out of necessity. This is one of the best i have come across. Hell they can even do the laundry for you!!! read more

Exactly what one would hope for in a laundromat. It has the crucial combination of both a change machine and an ATM. Washing machines (regular size) take 27 minutes and dryers take 45. Moreover, the dryers actually dry your clothes the first time around. There are tables for folding clothes. There are tables and chairs and a TV for waiting. Prices are affordable ($2.75 for a regular load and $2.00 for a dryer). Some things are a bit dated, but that is likely because this place has been here a while, which gives it character--there's a cool wooden clock in the waiting area with a painted logo adding to that impression. Also, the name is great, and you should support people who name their businesses creatively. read more

I mean, how many stars can you really give a laundromat? This place smells like mildew constantly.. Like, since I've been going, it's never NOT smelled like mildew. I'd like to think that a place you go to clean things..should be clean? Guess not. Anyway, the people who work here are courteous and nice, if that matters. read more

This is the least scary/creepy laundromat I have been to. It is relatively clean, usually doesn't smell too bad, the people who work there are so friendly, and most of the times the other customers are courteous. They have big machines, which is nice when you only do your laundry once a month. They also have a change machine inside, which is nice, I don't always have to save up a million quarters. And it is right by Panera! So you can go there, put your laundry in, and then sit at Panera while you are waiting for your laundry to be done. It was my first time doing a laundry service where they wash and fold for you, and I was very pleased! I dropped off my clothes, and the attendant was very kind. He weighed my clothes in front of me, confirmed the price and then told me I could leave my laundry basket with him or take it. I chose to leave my basket because it is very convenient to carry out. I measured my clothes at home on my personal weight scale and expected 23lbs, but it was closer to 27lbs of laundry which was $30. Therefore it was a little more expensive than I thought, but I assume that is my fault for using a body weight scale and not an object scale. He gave me a time to pick up the next day, and when I came in my laundry was ready to go :) Upon taking my laundry home, I was very impressed to see my laundry was in three separate bags: one for tops, bottoms, and towels. It was washed with an unscented detergent (which is my preference, but I'm assuming that is how they do it). Everything was very nicely folded, even the socks and underwear!!! I was especially impressed by the fact that my only two socks that had holes in them were folded together, which is so incredibly thoughtful. I am a very low maintenance person so I feel very satisfied with my purchase. The only reason for 4/5 stars is the price, they offer the cheapest in my area, but compared to other American cities it seems expensive. The laundry mat itself is outdated, but that isn't the kind of thing that bothers me at all. Since this is my first time doing a laundry service, I wasn't sure if I am meant to leave a tip or not. I only had a card, and on the card receipt there isn't a line for tipping. If that is the etiquette for laundry services, they should make a tipping option. But I personally have no idea. I will definitely be a returning customer, not regularly due to cost (as it is anywhere in Pgh) but definitely during my rough patches during the school year. read more

There is a very rude older woman who works some evenings there. I had been going there for 2 years with no problems....wash and fold my clothes, then I leave. One evening, I was finishing folding my clothes at 5:55PM (according to the laundromat's clock). I knew I had 5 min before closing, so I was rushing, shoving the rest of unfolded clothes into my hamper. This lady comes to me and tells me I need to leave because it's closing time. I say to her, "I promise, I promise, I'll be out of here in 2 min. I'll be out before 6:00PM"....as I pointed to the wall clock. I really didn't think it was a big deal because she saw me stuffing my clothes into the hamper to leave. She then rudely says, "No. You have to leave now. That clock is wrong. You're wrong." I mistakenly muster under my breath, "okay okay Geez". So she came towards me and began on a rampage, telling me she had been on her feet all day, asked if I wanted her to kill herself, stated she's dying of breast cancer, saying I have no respect for my elders. I responded, "whoa whoa, calm down, relax, there's no need to react this way and treat me like this". She continued on so I tell her that this isn't right and I'd be filing a complaint. I leave...which by the way, I was in my car by 6:00PM. After I leave, I just tell myself that it's not worth filing any complaint...she probably was having a very rough day, week, month. I let it go. 2 weeks later I decide to go one more time to Duds and Suds...same lady is there. I decide to go about my business, do my laundry, say nothing. She immediately comes at me while I'm loading my clothes. She says, "you're the girl who was very disrespectful to me". She tells me, "I don't care if your want me to kill myself, I've tried to do it before, most people hate me. But you need to understand I can't be on my feet all day like you can. You need to respect your elders." I responded with, "please just let it go." She continued on for another minute or so, lecturing me very loudly in front of all other customers. I stayed quiet. She came at me a second time while my clothes were in the dryer. I asked her to stop. Needless to say....I will not be returning there again.....all over a misunderstanding of 5 minutes. read more

This is a nice laundromat. Nicer than most I've been too. Generally quiet and affordable. There's a lotto ticket machine and vending machines inside. Right next to a Panera bread, or for the less than affluent, across the parking lot from Subway. Tables inside so you can have some lunch or dinner while your laundry is done.
