I love that I can use the Speed Queen App to pay for and monitor the multiple laundry timers from my phone! This laundromat is clean and well-lit. They offer S, M, and L -sized front-loading washers and standard top-loading machines. A wash cycle is a little pricey ($4+) but I'm here for saving time on several loads and the convenience of not using a hundred quarters in my apartment building's creepy, cobweb-y basement - haha. read more

Geez! I never thought I'd give this place anything less than five stars, but after talking to the management today, this is unfortunately a well-deserved 1 star. I walked in it 8:50 a.m. The place was a mess and dirty. Lint, dryer sheets, hair wads (!), & garbage all over the floor, baskets and machines, unclaimed clothing on top of washers, baskets blocking all the dryers. Deduct 2 stars. I called the telephone number inconspicuously posted next to the door. The man who answered said "yeah, we had a cleaning crew in yesterday and people messed it up after the cleaning crew. I'll be down there in about an hour and a half to two hours". No apology. No "Thanks for calling". That's not customer service. That's just plain lazy. No customer wants to hear an excuse. They want to hear "I'm really sorry about that. I'll be there as soon as possible". That's customer service. Guess he didn't get that memo. Deduct 2 stars just for bad customer service. Hiring a responsible, dependable cleaning service that's available on call/as needed would be good. I wondered why, if he knew it was a mess after it was cleaned, it wasn't taken care of right away. Hmmm... Also, a woman came in (I thought maybe to clean). Her first thing? Empty money receptacles. Telling what the priority is there. read more

I rarely use laundry mat services, but it was very much needed for some large items like blankets, child's plush play mat, pillows, etc. I was surprised to see it was a tad pricey for the wash - but, like I said, I never use a laundry mat, so I figured it was normal. The dryers were significantly cheaper and worked very well! The establishment is clean, tidy and even has extra cleaning products around so you feel safe with COVID. There is an ATM if needed and of course a change machine. They offer snacks and drinks available to purchase while you wait. Using this laundry mat was so easy and saved me soooo much time!! I will for sure be coming back here if I need in the future. read more

I travel for work and it turned out the Airbnb I'm staying at for 6 months didn't have a washer/dryer. I'd never been to a laundromat before and just assumed it would be extremely annoying and inconvenient. lucky, my experience here was fantastic. Being able to use the app to pay is a huge perk. the other thing I loved was how huge some of the washers/dryers were. I probably got a week's worth of washing done in less than two hours. There was also plenty of seating and carts to move your laundry from the washer to dryer. 5 star experience when I was absolutely dreading it to begin with. I almost prefer it to doing my laundry at home now! read more

I was staying downtown and the hotel charged per piece for laundry. This one was fairly close so I decided to give it a try. ATM on site, coin changers, and laundry product vending. They have a good number of machines including several oversized washers. Overall it was a great experience - easy in, easy to do the laundry, easy out. Parking is available as this is in a strip with a couple of other businesses. read more

I have usually found laundromats to be dismal places that I've avoided whenever possible. I needed to find a laundromat near me and stopped at this one. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. It's an extremely clean laundromat and all the equipment looks new and is in good working order. It wasn't crowded on a Monday morning with only one other customer. They have top loading and front loading washers. I had a small load so just used a top loading machine for $2. The change machine worked fine. They have a super large front loading machine for $5.75 that looked good for me to bring my comforter back to be washed. I think the regular top loading machines were $3.25. The drier was 50 cents for 15 minutes. I needed 30 minutes. There's a television and what's also nice was free WiFi with a very good signal. It looked like the owner came in and got everything stocked up and cleaned up. I think this is a very well run place and look forward to doing washes here again. read more

When an electrical issue affected our washer, we were glad that Shannon Suds was right down the road. No lie, this is the best-maintained laundromat I've seen. Everything was spotlessly clean and there is an ATM and change machine, but what got my stamp of approval was the availability of the Speed Queen app that runs a set of washer and dryers. No more fumbling for quarters, and you can head for breakfast or lunch at the Trolley Barn next door because you'll get texted when your machine's done. As an FYI, it costs about 5.75 to wash and dry a load in the Speed Queen machines. The owners are very nice and attentive too. As I have a couple of big comforters that don't quite fit in my washer and dryer, I'll continue to use Shannon Suds for those. read more

Nice, clean laundry mat. With a variety of the big washers which I love cause I'm always washing me and my kids bedding. Since my washer and dryer at home are to small to fit our comforters. They have a great vending machine. Full of all kinds of drinks and goodies. Located next to one of my favorite places to eat breakfast, the trolley barn. read more

I love this particular laundromat. It is always clean, you don't feel like you have to watch your back, it's well lit, well travelled, etc. And, the customers are always super nice... always saying "hi" or commenting on the weather... I don't find the machines to be any less or more expensive than other places I've been to, but I don't tend to go anywhere else unless it is late at night (last wash at 10:00pm and the doors automatically lock at 11:30), who usually does laundry that late anyways? read more

One of the nicest cleanest laundromats in Pittsburgh. All machines new and in working order, the place was sparkling clean, change machine works, ATM and vending machines inside. 2 TVs. Not a seedy clientele. Prices on par with all other laundromats, they don't over charge for their machines. I will be coming to this place from now on. Parking very easy and available. read more
