We had a shower that had a bench in it that was making it challenging to get in and out of for my…read more80 year old mother. My original request wast to see if we can cut the bench in half there by making more room to get in and out. They arrived at the time they said they would, they were literally here at the exact minute that was greed on. I was impressed with the timeliness. They came in and checked out the area. They suggested that we should maybe just take the whole bench out and after a little thought we agreed. Now the plan was to take out the bench and patch up the empty area with tile. They start taking the bench out and there were problems created from the previous contractor. Turns out our bench was never put in properly, like water proofing it. So there was mold found. We deal with that issue then we discover the dam in the shower is supposed to be made out of 2 x 6 and our former person only did it with 2 x 2's So now we need a new dam built. Another thing thing that happened was they accidentally killed a square section of grass. They put out a large sheet of rubber to use for the base of the shower on the grass in 100 degree heat. I took it off the grass hours later when I noticed it. The grass turned brown. Good new is the grass is turning green again and its all starting to look good The shower gets done and its time to put the doors back in. We have very large glass doors, like over 6 feet tall. Somehow one of them shattered. What a mess of glass we had. They took full responsibility for the broken door and got it replaced in a few days. Despite all the things that came up during the project they did a really good job for us. They even gave us some credit for the grass problem and the door breakage. They were conscientious, timely, and communicated appropriately about what was going on. I would highly recommend them.

He was very on top of it, came in to look at the damages, paid me back for the plumbers to come out, told me he would make it right & fix the floors. Scheduled the floor repairs for August 9-11, tried getting ahold of him the week before he was supposed to come in. Phone is off, and never showed up to fix the floors. Even emailed the email on his business card and nothing. Completely unprofessional especially when he was so on top of it to make it right to just ghost me and never show up or even contact me. Based on Yelp reviews, I called this company for an estimate and inquired if they did tile repair. Jacqueline assisted me with setting up an appointment time (the very next day, by the way). She was empathetic, helpful, soft spoken and professional. David arrived on time and was very helpful in determining what work needed to be done to complete the repair. We set a date for repair and David and Louis arrived as scheduled and on time. They protected my entire kitchen area with plastic and began the work. Louis is very skilled and prepped the floor as needed. He was also pleasant and helpful and explained the repair process to us. Even though I knew the name/color of the original grout, David still brought a sample book just to be sure it was correct. It's about the quality of work - and who wants to get it wrong? Once the floor was prepped and the replacement tile installed, he said he would return in a few hours in order for everything to dry before he grouted the area. Both Louis and David returned in a few hours, as promised and completed the job. If you were not aware of where the repair originated on my kitchen floor, I challenge you to find the repair area. It's that good. David has an impeccable work ethic. If you are searching for a professional for tile repair, look no further. I would not hesitate to use and recommend A & A Flooring Specialist for all of your flooring needs. I contacted Francisco for cleaning, painting and popcorn removal; which came out beautiful. I received the Vinyl Plank floors and Ceiling Fans (I hadn't hired anyone yet but had shipped to the house) and Francisco said he could do the floors and fans also. What luck finding him, as he did the entire house/project with minimal supervision, he handled it all took a lot of stress off me. The House came out beautiful. Besides Electrical, his plumbing skills are great and he installed a new double-sink vanity in the master bath; it was previously 1 sink, so the plumbing needed changing. He also did the Closet Doors, the Faux Wood Blinds and changed all the outlets and more.  Francisco provided a couple soft suggestions and he was absolutely right!.  He genuinely saw the modern, updated, though renter and budget friendly theme I was going for and it seems he was genuinely helping me get my theme right, in a budget friendly manner, not simply expand his workload.  After the tub was refinished, new double vanity, new lighting, and large mirrors, he said "do you really want to put these shower doors back on (from the 80s) and he was right, the new shower doors which he gave me a great price to install, made the entire bath look new, modernized and updated.  He also mentioned the inexpensive Panel closet sliding doors, which really was needed and they did update the bedrooms a bit at a good price and look very nice.  His work was beautiful,he did clean up, he knows what he is doing, and I will definitely hire him again.  Actually, I did hire him again (I had to replace a water heater).  One thing to consider, if you are in a timeline, get an exact completion date. The project took about 3 weeks longer, than I anticipated, but it was worth it as the price and Francisco himself being great to work with and handling it with minimal supervision.
