I may or may not have place settings for twenty-seven people. I never tire of the tent sales, factory tours, seconds room, main room, and so on. I haven't met a piece of Fiestaware I don't like. The folks who work here are so genuine, like the product they put out. A true family of employees with the same love and obsession as people like me. Homer Laughlin introduced Fiestaware in 1936 and I even have pieces that were my grandmother's. Annually they come out with a new color and I look forward to it every year. All pieces are made here in the factory in this small WV town about an hour from Pittsburgh. The dishes and accessories are durable and last decades. Pieces made between 1936-1972 were made with a radioactive red glaze (worth a fortune now for mad collectors like me). Fear not, the modern-day pieces are lead free. I'm an absolute maniac for Fiestaware and Homer Laughlin (actually have items from their other lines as well). Love love love love. Fiesta Forever!!

The sunglasses carts are at the sidewalks near the far end past the food court. On the way to NY, we stopped in a few stores. They had some really good sales for back-to-school, but we were on a mission for a few specific items. And, we do not go back to school in the traditional way. Haha. Nike and Samsonite are two of our favorite stores to check out. (December) We are back in the Pittsburgh area and opted for Grove City for some last-minute Christmas shopping. Samsonite had exactly what we were looking for and good sales. The newest boutique shop catering to women and children sells the cutest clothing and accessories. I love the POL brand and wanted to shop for myself. The owner (Tara) is very friendly and was so sweet to help me find a gift for my sister and best friend. She even tried on a sweater that I wasn't sure about (sizing). They have the most adorable baby and toddler outfits, too! We also stopped at Lululemon and The Coffee Tree at Joseph's. Highly recommend both. The sales were amazing at Lulu. I think the GC has something for everyone despite being one of the smaller premium outlets I have shopped over the years. We enjoyed the fact that it was not overly crowded.

We try to make sure we stop at all the major places, Nike, Skechers, Bath & Body Works, Adidas and new balance. Sometimes the prices are better online so sometimes we just walk around to see what is on sale and then get presently surprised when we find something. Great place to shop or to get a workout in by walking from store to store.. conveniently located right off of the highway.

Pittsburgh does not have as many upscale malls as do larger cities, and I think that Ross Park Mall…read moreis the fanciest mall that we have. This indoor mall has two floors and over 150 stores. The anchor stores are Nordstrom, Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods. Luxury/designer stores include Burberry, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Co., Kate Spade, and Tory Burch. The mall also has many lower-priced clothing stores, including American Eagle, Banana Republic, Buckle, Chico's, Express, GAP, H&M, Hollister, J.Crew, J.Jill, Levi's, LOFT, Madewell, PacSun, Victoria's Secret, White House Black Market, and Zumiez. Unfortunately, a few of my favorite clothing stores have closed since my previous review. Several other stores sell shoes and accessories, such as Coach, Foot Locker, Kay Jewelers, Lens Crafters, Pandora, Sunglass Hut, Swarovski, Tumi, VisionWorks, and Warby Parker. The mall also has electronics stores such as Apple and phone stores. Stores for home goods include Crate and Barrel, RH (formerly Restoration Hardware), Tempur-Pedic, and Williams-Sonoma. Current restaurants are Auntie Anne's, Cheesecake Factory, Plaza Azteca, Nordstrom Ruscello, several casual restaurants in the food court, etcetera. Unlike many other indoor malls, Ross Park Mall is not dead. Most store fronts are occupied, and only a few store fronts are empty and awaiting future retailers.

4.5 stars overall. The Highlands is a shopping complex that opened a while ago but still looks new…read more As of 2024, this shopping complex includes about 30 retail stores, 26 restaurants, 7 hotels, 28 service businesses, 3 entertainment businesses, 3 vehicle dealerships, and 3 industrial businesses. The stores sell accessories, clothing, footwear, electronics, furniture, craft supplies, home decor, home-improvement products, pet supplies, video games, chocolates, etcetera. The stores are definitely not upscale (e.g., Best Buy, Cabela's, JCPenney, Kohl's, Menards, Old Navy, Target, and Walmart), but they sell what local people need. The restaurants serve cuisines such as burgers, fried chicken, pizzas, Mexican foods, Japanese foods, steaks, ice creams, etcetera. Most restaurants are chains (e.g., Bob Evans, Eat 'n Park, Fusion Steakhouse, Jimmy John's, Primanti Bros., and Texas Roadhouse), and all have a casual atmosphere. Service businesses provide healthcare, nail and hair styling, cell-phone plans, banking, etcetera. Entertainment includes a movie theater, simulated golf, and a sports complex. Over the past several years, I have visited this shopping center multiple times. It is conveniently located for people who live near Wheeling city, Eastern Ohio, or Southwestern Pennsylvania and for people who are traveling through the area.
