One was a nice solid, the other a bold chevron pattern knit scarf. I saw a few items I would have enjoyed for myself too, but so much to buy, so little money. One thing that I like is Spoiled Chics has a lot of merchandise that's made in the USA and is NOT sweat-shop sourced. They also buy a lot of items from female enterpreneurs. I've never been treated so poorly as a customer in my life until I went to Orr's jewlers. It's not that we were promised countless times that the jacket would be here next week, only stop by the store and be told find it still hadn't shown up. The real reason you shouldn't buy from the store is the complete and total lack of concern that was shown by the owner. As you can imagine, we were fairly frustrated with the delay yet we were always kind and respectful. My daughter purchased this jacket and she was so looking forward to wearing it. After almost 30 days I finally asked to speak to the owner. He simply told me that his current supplier no longer carried the jacket, and he was ordering it from another supplier - no remorse, no sense of urgency. He assured me it would arrive with 10 days. Almost a month and two conversations later, still nothing. We finally requested our money back. Don't confuse the owner's complete disregard for customer care with the kindness shown by the people behind the counter. I'm sure they felt embarrassed for the way we have been treated - my daughter excitedly going into the store after school, week after week, only for them to tell her they still didn't have it. I don't like writing such a negative review, but I think that the only way the owner will change his ways is if he suffers a lack of business. Perhaps he will then figure out that treating customers well is important, and others won't go through the same thing we did.
