The woman working the day we visited was very friendly? quick to provide assistance, but also not up your butt while you shopped around. The old building was surprisingly cool on this hot day. The prices were on par for other similar shops the area, but the inventory seemed more unique.

Then, we went across the street to Park Avenue Mktplace. Well!!!' Let me tell u! We were looking and I found this awesome horn/ uranium piece. I spoke with Steve, told him I was going to purchase this but asked a favor! The favor was to call and ask the owners if they had any info on this piece. He preceded to come and tell me that the owner wants this piece put aside and does not want to sell rite now! I feel he wanted this for himself! I argued my case for a while! I said that this is bad business and that he just lost a customer, he shrugged his shoulders and walked away! Beware of this store! Unprofessionalism at its best!

I can't really tell if this one or the other was bigger in size. But this one is set up similarly. Rented space packed to the brim with items to browse through. Almost everything that isn't nailed down is up for sale. I mean that literally. My better half was actually excited here. He has been looking for some pieces for a project he was doing. He had a set look in his mind and we just happened to stumble upon them here. Three perfectly big porch columns and one half porch column were just sitting in here waiting to be reused. Other items that caught his eye were old wooden doors that were just prime for the taking. The people were so helpful with us. They allowed us to use a tape measure to make sure of the size of not only the columns but to see if they would fit in my vehicle. I walked down to my car and got distracted, ended up stopping in at the first location before coming back here. They were so helpful in here. They also made sure to point out some other items that might interest us. We mad a mental note of the items and asked if they would take a deposit for items to be held. Turns out they have a layaway type of program. Put a deposit down and they hold the item until it can be paid off or if you need to come back with a larger vehicle. Good deal to me.
