This is the place to stay in Selinsgrove - Sunbury area for sure. Kelly the GM has an incredible…read morestable staff. That translates to consistent high level of service. Can't find a cleaner hotel and more focused service staff. Special call out to Ashley the Front Office Manager, the breakfast workers and housekeeping. Even when I don't ask for housekeeping they are focused on fresh towels I travel 40 weeks out of a year and stay in many Fairfield's because of this location primarily. I have been a Marriott customer for over 20 years and although some full service Marriott's have features Fairfield does not offer, no hotel seems to compare to the areas I mentioned in recent memory. Stay here if you are looking for simple convenience, comfort, safety, and value. All the features a frequent traveler values exist in the Fairfield format. The formats are consistent by location which makes it simple To adjust for frequent travelers. Finally this location is the best I have found all year and multiple locations for all the reasons mentions. Great job and thanks for all you do

We travel a lot, and we stay in a variety of places. This is the first negative review that I have…read moreever written. We stayed here for two nights for Susquehanna graduation weekend. Average price per night was $400 (demand pricing - rooms normally run about $120) which in itself was fine given the limited options in the area. We don't always stay in luxury hotels - primary Marriott properties are the norm (Courtyards, Fairfield, etc.). Cons: - Very dirty (elevators, the actual room, floors, hallways, carpet, etc.) - Room and entire place had a strange vinegar/chemical/odd smell - especially in the room. Like they were trying to cover up. - Coffee empty repeatedly - Smokers repeatedly outside the main door which happened to permeate our room Pros: - Proximity to shopping and campus - Free parking

I am fed up with this rundown craphole and would not suggest you waste your time or money.

Well, I can't recommend this place to anybody and especially not hikers. Trail Angel Mary gave me…read moreand a group of five other hikers a ride out here. They had been quoted a rate for five people, that was certain. However, when they got here they were charged $20 more. The manager wouldn't honor the rate he had quoted them and if they had known the real rate they would have stayed at The Doyle in town. This place is out in the middle of nowhere. As for me, I was quoted the hiker rate of $55 but initially arrived and was quoted a higher rate as well. Worse, my "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke. Also, the other inhabitants appear to be extras from an early John Waters movie. The people in the room next to me appear to live here, smoke incessantly inside and out of their room, and have a hacking cough. The rooms are tiny and barely furnished (I have a desk and no chair and a bed, that's it). I guess the best I can say is that they seem sort of clean, but tattered and beat up. I am giving this place one star because the woman at the front desk is wonderful and has been sympathetic to all of us. Please treat her well. She is being put in a crappy spot by her manager.

I believe there is a very long curb not marked with emergency paint available. I did use Hilton app to check in about two hours before my arrival. Upon my arrival there was not an electronic key on my app. The young lady at front desk helped me out immediately giving me a couple physical cards. This location is still offering cookies in the afternoon as well as the 24hr. coffee bar. Our room was cooled and clean upon arrival. There was an oversized refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available. Bathroom was clean with hand soap and body lotion on wall in pump containers. There were also pump containers in curtained shower of shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Water was hot and shower head was adjustable. I selected a room on the side of building which faced busy highway not knowing how the hotel was oriented. Because of the extra ridges on roadway I heard trucks going by almost all night. I know better if in area again. My wife and I both felt the bed was a little firm. We prefer softer. Breakfast was a step up from other Hampton's we have stayed in. First, there was packages of honey at coffee bar 24/7 for my wife's tea. For breakfast there is a carafe of infused water with fruit, packages of good salsa for the omelet, cinnamon flavored waffle batter, and an upgraded pastry selection. I did use first floor restroom which was clean and stocked with a nice heavy paper towel. I would stay here again if traveling thru area.
