Great locally owned country cooking diner. Only open for breakfast and lunch. I've not had anything bad there.

Been meaning to stop in for a while now and we finally did. The MC is so cute. We loved it…read more The staff are all very friendly and efficient. We ordered lattes and some food for dining in. It was a colder day and so the seating options were limited but I bet this place is fantastic in the warmer temps because they have a lot of nice outside seating available. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was excellent. I also got a rosemary honey latte with oat milk and I highly recommend it! The prices are very fair and portions are excellent. If you're concerned about parking, there are spots available in the lot next to the building and they also have plenty of nearby street parking. (The menu did offer alcoholic beverages but I didn't try them.)

I found that out as I was exiting the train via their website. I was pretty disappointed, since there were literally no breakfast places around and the train drops you off at like 9am. I even asked the customer service person at the exit of the train, and nothing. Bay Saint louis would make bank with a 7 day a week breakfast place. Anyway, we came here regardless of no food to get some wake up juice. There were so many flavors and different combinations to try, let along the alcohol coffees. So, I decided on the Belfast Brew. It had Jameson in it and Irish cream. It was sooooo pretty when it arrived! Like a dessert! We sat in the couches and just chatted, very relaxing and no rush to be anywhere. There were a few people here so I can imagine it probably much busier later in the week. I have thought about this coffee many times since I had it and I wish something like this existed in New Orleans. It really was one of the best 'Irish coffees' I have ever had!

Full disclosure, my wife and I have been to Dolce cafe's sister establishment, the Dolce Bakeshop,…read moreand they were really great... so we went in to the Dolce Cafe expecting a certain level of taste and quality. We were NOT disappointed! I don't typically eat breakfast (yeah, yeah... I know, it's the "most important meal of the day") but when I do, I have two generalized categories I stick to- sweet or savory. Today was savory, so I ordered the breakfast sandwich... think, McD's bacon, egg & cheese biscuit... but made like your grandma would do it. It was an absolutely perfectly orchestrated meal. Now, while it was a "sandwich"... I had to use a fork and knife to eat it because it was so big and deliciously messy (I wanted to eat it, not wear it for the rest of the day). My wife got the grain bowl, which I fully expected to come out looking like a bowl of petting zoo food, but instead, it actually looked pretty dang good! She said it was delicious and described it as a perfectly balanced meal- filling, but not too heavy. She got a London Fog tea while I went with an iced mocha... it is summertime in south Mississippi, after all. Both drinks were as good as they were expected to be, coming from the Dolce family of eateries. Let's talk atmosphere for a second. If you like a loud, obnoxious atmosphere with busy, hustling and rude staff... stay away from Dolce. This place is so laid back and relaxed and the staff is simply amazing! Customer service is obviously a top priority here. The dining room was clean, the staff wore masks (to accommodate for the COVID-19 hysteria) and did I mention how awesome the service was? Because it was really great. We could have sat there all day sipping our coffees and felt welcome the entire time, but unfortunately, I had to get back to work. It could be a little tricky to find, as it's on the back of the building at 1720 Pass Road (look for the signs), but it's well worth the stop and it's in a very peaceful area with a nice view from inside and a nice, shady covered patio outside. We will DEFINITELY be adding Dolce Cafe to our list of regular places and we hope that you will too... small businesses like this one need us to support them, especially now. When a place is as nice, friendly, attentive, and makes food as delicious as Dolce does, it's an easy choice to make.

I've had their coffees, teas, sandwiches, and pastries and every time I am never disappointed. The prices are very reasonable, as I am a college student, so that is always a plus. The environment is quiet, perfect for studying, and comfortable to be in.
