Full disclosure, my wife and I have been to Dolce cafe's sister establishment, the Dolce Bakeshop, and they were really great... so we went in to the Dolce Cafe expecting a certain level of taste and quality. We were NOT disappointed! I don't typically eat breakfast (yeah, yeah... I know, it's the "most important meal of the day") but when I do, I have two generalized categories I stick to- sweet or savory. Today was savory, so I ordered the breakfast sandwich... think, McD's bacon, egg & cheese biscuit... but made like your grandma would do it. It was an absolutely perfectly orchestrated meal. Now, while it was a "sandwich"... I had to use a fork and knife to eat it because it was so big and deliciously messy (I wanted to eat it, not wear it for the rest of the day). My wife got the grain bowl, which I fully expected to come out looking like a bowl of petting zoo food, but instead, it actually looked pretty dang good! She said it was delicious and described it as a perfectly balanced meal- filling, but not too heavy. She got a London Fog tea while I went with an iced mocha... it is summertime in south Mississippi, after all. Both drinks were as good as they were expected to be, coming from the Dolce family of eateries. Let's talk atmosphere for a second. If you like a loud, obnoxious atmosphere with busy, hustling and rude staff... stay away from Dolce. This place is so laid back and relaxed and the staff is simply amazing! Customer service is obviously a top priority here. The dining room was clean, the staff wore masks (to accommodate for the COVID-19 hysteria) and did I mention how awesome the service was? Because it was really great. We could have sat there all day sipping our coffees and felt welcome the entire time, but unfortunately, I had to get back to work. It could be a little tricky to find, as it's on the back of the building at 1720 Pass Road (look for the signs), but it's well worth the stop and it's in a very peaceful area with a nice view from inside and a nice, shady covered patio outside. We will DEFINITELY be adding Dolce Cafe to our list of regular places and we hope that you will too... small businesses like this one need us to support them, especially now. When a place is as nice, friendly, attentive, and makes food as delicious as Dolce does, it's an easy choice to make. read more

Excellent service! The owner and his employees are a joy to talk to and always have positive energy. The food is prepared in a nice timely manner and is always delicious. I've had their coffees, teas, sandwiches, and pastries and every time I am never disappointed. The prices are very reasonable, as I am a college student, so that is always a plus. Soooo...over the past 4 months, I've had a few experiences with Dolce Cafe and they have all been 5 stars! First - I had their catered food at a small event we hosted. Pimento cheese, deviled eggs, charcuterie, homemade pickles, etc. I was blown away. It was all so delicious and i knew I had to try more. Second - William, the chef/owner, did a little pop up dinner at the cafe in January. Oh. My. Gosh. The five course dinner was amazing. You must go the next time they host one! Third - I finally got by the Cafe for breakfast this week and it didn't disappoint as well. I had a breakfast sandwich with eggs, Gouda and ham on a fresh croissant that made you think you were in Paris. My friend had the blueberry crepes that I stared long enough at that she let me have a bite and they were amazing (and I'm not typically a huge fan of crepes). Very limited menu, the sandwich I had was good. However a friend was with me dieting and had difficulty finding something to eat.

Decided to try something new for lunch and I made the great choice of selecting a local place, Dolce Cafe. I had the chicken salad, which was great! The cafe is cute with excellent service. I highly recommend! read more
