If are going to order four slices you should ordered the whole pie and get eight slices for about the same price. This thin crust pizza wasn't the best, but was surprisingly better than we expected. BEWARE - Awful seafood. We stay in Gilford every year. The Mt. Washington lake cruise is always followed by the boardwalk. The kids hit the aracde and we meander. 2023 I noticed they added seafood to the menu at the Pizza stand. I took a chance and ordered the fish and chips. It was AMAZING! You could tell it was fresh fish, clean oil. I was stunned at how good this little shack did seafood. Fast forward to last week. Same deal. $70 for fish and chips, clam strip plate and 2 slices of pizza. When the girl called my number and she pushed the food through the pick up window I stopped in my tracks. A clearly frozen plank of fish - literally a 1/4 in diamond shaped frozen plank. The clam strips were also previously frozen garbage. Basically, if you've seen SeaPak in the grocery store, that's what they served. I asked the girl what happened, explained that I had the seafood last year and how amazing it was - she did not speak English and could not understand a word I was saying. We had just spent all that money so made an attempt to eat. as soon as I cut the fish, water squished out (because it was frozen fish). The clam strips were just clam flavored breading. We abandoned the food on the table and left. I am aware this is a pizza stand, on a boardwalk and not a gourmet restaurant but they are charging gourmet prices and the seafood is awful. They should just stick to fried dough and pizza and french fries...Just trying to help my fellow family who may be on a budget to not waste their money on the seafood. read more

Geez what a uneventful way to ruin a beautiful day at the Lake. After shredding through the water on Skis, the boys decide they need Pizza to fuel up after that intense ride. We grab a large cheese pizza from the generic large "PIZZA" sign which is an excellent marketing strategy I will admit that. Within a few hours after ingesting this dry bland pizza, everyone has gastrointestinal problems. I would avoid this pizza place if I were you. read more

Why didn't I review Yelp's comments before giving way too much money and effort to visit this place? Anyone who reads my reviews knows I try to be very fair in my ratings (good or bad with my reasons). Our first try with this place was before boarding with the Mt Washington cruise.....plenty of people working but no acknowledgement that they don't open for another 45 mins. Ok, our mistake we couldn't read signs they didn't have. We were just ignored until a random passerby yelled to us that they are closed. (If they don't need cash money during this pandemic, who am I to beg them to take ours?) We end up walking over after the cruise and the lady ahead of us ordered 2 cheese pizzas. Ok.....when the cashier told her $40 plus dollars?! I thought it was a joke. But maybe I misheard the 2 and the cheese. NOPE. She handed over a $50 bill but I didn't see her change. We ordered 2 slices (no drinks) and it was $11. I wish they were serving Ellio's frozen pizza as it would've been at least mediocre. The "pizza" we got was just....boring, tasteless, heated through a microwave type machine. I wish I could give more stars as I love local businesses and want to support the staff working. Went on to Yelp out of curiosity after eating a very disappointing slice of pizza from this place. Here, they charge $4-5 for a slice that's small, doughy, flavorless and lacks sauce and cheese. The service was fine and the cashier was friendly, but overall, this joint is best to avoid. read more

This place is a total rip off... $4.50 for a tiny piece of cheese pizza! I have had better frozen pizzas from the supermarket. We also got a chicken finger basket which tasted like fish. When asked for sweet-and-sour sauce we were given a packet that expired in 2017, it is currently August 2018. Needless to say the customer service was horrible they could care less about our dissatisfaction. Highly recommend grabbing a slice at any of the other restaurants in the area!! read more

The customer service is poor, they gave us an undercooked fried dough. We asked the cashier to give us a crispier one and she said that's how it should be. Obviously she doesn't care about customer's satisfaction. It wasn't even busy, they laught when we walked away. Save your money and avoid this place! Read the shitty reviews and believe them! Rudest people ever, unsanitary and undercook pizza. Don't dare ask them to cook it longer because they won't do it. I just paid $26 for the worst pizza I've ever had. No exaggeration. The sausage was unrecognizable as meat, and there was very little of it. There was almost no red sauce on the dough. Hardly any cheese. Veggies were undercooked and mostly raw. Zero flavor. That said, this pizza actually had two redeeming qualities: 1) the large size turned out to be huge and 2) they cooked it quickly, in less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately neither of these qualities changed my rating or opinion. Half Moon Pizza is not recommended unless you're absolutely desperate or you don't really care about what you put in your mouth. Any other pizza place in the Lakes Region will be more satisfying than this one. read more
