I ordered a chef's salad with double meat and cheese. This salad came with two rolls of meat, each consisting of two slices of ham, and two slices of turkey, of which you could see through and NO cheese. THIS SALAD COST $16.00. (Roughly) Had this dish come with a reasonable amount of meat I'm speaking of four slices each of non-translucent turkey and ham including cheese in each individual portion (roll) of meat in this here special salad I ordered from Sal's with double meat and cheese !!!!!! The food wasn't the worst experience!! when I went to return it I was given a hard time by the girl behind the counter! telling me that was the normal amount of toppings... and I was wrong . I refuse to pay that kind of money to be treated like by a kid behind the counter and a high school kid making me a salad shooing me a devilish stare that cost an hour's wage. After this experience, knowing that the owner heard the entire altercation while making the pizzas watching the situation from afar, I will never ever return to Sals my husband preferring, Laconia House, I preferring Sals, making it a tradition to go to both, making us both happy I will now settle for something else, and no longer get what I like due to the lack of customer service read more

Excellent pizza and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and hardworking on a busy Saturday night. The cheese pizza and chicken, bacon, & pineapple pizza were really tasty. I felt bad for the staff as there were a number of rude customers that were upset their pizzas were going to be about 15 minutes delayed, even after having one of their pizzas compted. I went to five different Laconia restaurants, all of them reviewed here on yelp. Exactly two of them were doing the right thing in light of COVID. Sal's was better than the worst two but not really great. Masks: SOME Plexi Shield: YES Social Distancing: NO Sal's made some attempt, plexi across the counter and the guy taking orders has a bandana (which doesn't really work, but at least it's something). But the guys making the pizza are crowded around each other, no masks. This was the first time I have ordered from Sal's. I think the Pizza is excellent and very tasty. What throws me back somewhat, especially at this time, is not a single employee is wearing a mask. Wearing mask are not just to protect yourself, they are to protect the other person. I know a lot of people in New Hampshire don't care about wearing face mask. But a lot of us from Massachusetts do care about it! If you look at the deaths in New Hampshire versus the deaths in Massachusetts they are dramatically different. But the percentages are very similar. Please have your workers wear a mask. It would just make me feel much better to order from you. But I was very happy with my experience there. Good pizza but Sals Laconia even pre Covid closes to early. It's 9pm Saturday night and they are closed. That's my only beef.

I was sent an email from Sal's titled "Tell us how we did!". When I tried to respond to it I got a return message that it was sent to an unmonitored address; in other words "undeliverable". So, I will let them know through this method how they did. Looking at my receipt, that I saw for the first time when it was emailed to me, I am disappointed. We asked if we could substitute banana peppers for the black olives and were told yes, but not told there would be a $3 upcharge. Also, if the pizza was served on a wire rack the crust might not get soggy. The Greek salad was good. read more

I've always loved sals ever since I was a kid, I always went to the concord branch and since moving to Laconia I've been going to this one more often. The difference between the two branches is huge! The pizza tastes completely different it seems and the delivery time has constantly been upwards of 45 minutes. I love sals pizza but I have not been impressed as of late. read more

Laconia Sal's pizza needs some serious help. 1st experience- system was down, ovens weren't working. Was told they couldn't write an order down (had to go through the computer)and to try calling back every half hour. 2nd experience tried calling for over an hour and a half to place a large order, the phone was either busy or I was put on hold for over 10 minutes a time. Never was able to order and went to a competitor. 3rd experience- tried calling for 45 minutes on my way home from work. Drove directly there. Was told 20 minutes for my pizza. Went back at 25 minutes and still had to wait 20 minutes. Severely understaffed and no concern or apology for the lateness. The manager in Laconia should take a ride to Concord Sal's and see what a well run store is like. It's a shame because I love their pizza but not worth the hassle to go there. read more
