This is our second time completely replacing our kitchen rugs with Lucky Bargains and they truly live up to their name! The rugs range in price from 10-$$$ and rugs at all ranges are beautiful. And it is probably a good idea to get your rugs cleaned, after two years of lockdown/work-from-home/remote-learning... Asadorian Rug Company has taken care of my family's rugs for two generations now. Most were purchased while living abroad 50+ years ago. Over the decades, Asadorian has provided periodic cleaning, repairing, underlays, long-distance shipping, etc. Our rugs get heavy usage, and Asadorian has kept them in excellent shape, with a minimum of cost and trouble. The Asadorian family still owns and runs the business just like always. They are nice as can be, organized and professional, and have incredibly profoundly deep knowledge and expertise. They do a great job of getting our rugs clean, are conscientious about the products they use, and have never caused any damage. I have not yet had them repair any rugs myself, but my dad did in the past, and was very happy with the quality of the work. Their prices are good -- actually less expensive than a lot of places. The process is easy, efficient, and stress-free. Paperwork is electronic, estimates always correct, never any hidden charges or up-sells, turnaround time always good. My dad always used their pickup service, but I just bring them in myself. They are always easy to reach by phone if need be. Their "new" location in Maryland Heights is actually very convenient - just a few blocks off 270 - and has a parking lot right in front. Plus the store itself is a nice, clean, modern, open space. Huge bonus: If you ask, they will give you a verbal appraisal of your rugs (no charge). This is incredibly valuable and you should ask for this if you bring in an exotic rug. They can also tell you everything from the fiber content to the age, geographic origin, and ethnic style. You will be amazed. I am pretty OCD and always double- and triple- check everything they tell me, and it is always 100% accurate, down to the very decade the rug was made! If you are lucky and pester them with questions, you might get an amazing yet down-to-earth lesson in history, geography, and anthropology, about a part of the world that is relevant right now. Another bonus: They are incredibly generous with time and advice. Our other house (in New Hampshire) had a moth issue, and Steve talked me through the mitigation process, and explained how to prevent them in the future. Obviously, we've never had a problem here in STL, because we have Asadorian here to take care of our rugs. Asadorian also has an excellent and diverse selection of really gorgeous rugs for sale, at good reasonable prices. This is the only place in town I'd trust, to buy a rug, though I already have too many rugs...

He told us that the store is an off branch of Mary Tuttle's, which is why the two are so close together. The level of quality of the linens that they sell is outstanding, as is the style. They even have throw pillows and all sorts of bedding here. All of it is very soft to the touch and I know that I would feel like a princess if I slept in this stuff.

The credit card was not mailed in a timely fashion and if I hadn't called I would have owed a $41 late payment and charged 34.99% on the balance of the mattress. The mattress itself is great I just am quite disappointed at their dishonesty.

Classical music or NPR on the radio, no chaos, no kids, and a calm demeanor. It feels to me like I can imagine a spa would to a suburban housewife. His work is superb. He has, on multiple occasions, tried to source fabric I wanted overseas that was difficult to obtain. The fill, the tucking, the sewing, it's all gorgeous. Timelines are completely reasonable and it's always been completed on time. I believe he also has wood repair personnel in the shop to fix or re-stain anything that needs a lift. We generally do the wood refinishing ourselves then take the shell back for upholstery. You can email him a picture of your piece and what you're looking for for an easy quote in order to avoid lugging a huge piece to the shop.

He did ask if I was in need of the boxspring upstairs or down and when I told him it was going up he recommended a split boxspring so that it would be easier to move; I agreed. The split boxspring was the right price and I made the purchase. The one thing I really apprecited is that he didn't try to sell me anything else in the store. Most times stores like this try to recommend other items, but he did not. He only sold me what I asked for! Kudos for this. Once I paid for my purchase he even helped carry out the boxspring to the truck to help us load it up-great service and great personality!
