Got catering from them for 40+ people. The food was delicious and they were very easy to communicate with.

As a lover of Greek food, I was so excited to try their menu for Baltimore Winter Restaurant week…read more They were offering unlimited mezzedes (small plates) for $45. My experience was very underwhelming. The positives: I liked that there is a parking lot across the street specifically for the restaurant because street parking is very limited. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server was nice and tried her best to be attentive even though the kitchen was so backed up and moving at a snails pace. The pita bread was delicious. The desserts were great. My favorites were the baklava and loukoumades. Really the only dessert I didn't care for was the chocolate rum and roses cake because I'm not a big rose fan because it has the tendency of overpowering the other flavors in certain treats. The negatives: The kitchen was very slow at getting things out, even though the restaurant wasn't packed. Aside from the desserts, I didn't care for the food. The biggest issue was everything was lukewarm by the time we received it at our table. The hummus was just ok. The bread was great alone. The Greek village salad had way more feta than anything else and needed more oil and vinegar. The spanakopita was ok but some batches came out burnt but they were never hot. The Cyprus meatballs were so burnt that we couldn't even eat them. The lamb and beef dip was too salty. The stuffed grapes leaves were just ok. The macaronia tou fournou had the potential to be really good but it was not warm enough. I want to believe it was just a bad night and maybe their food is better outside of restaurant week but I'm afraid to try again and be disappointed. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning.

Cypriana was quite a treat. We had a reservation and were immediately seated. There are two…read moredifferent seating areas. One is more of an expected dining room, and the other is a table space near the bar. We were seated in the latter section. I will say this was my only minor complaint. It seems like they want to be an upscale dining experience, but the presence of TVs playing sports is killing the vibe. However, the service and food by far compensated for that. Carolyn (I believe was her name) was our server, and she was just fantastic. She was pleasant and attentive. My daughter and I split four of the mezzedes, and I ordered the mushroom soup and she ordered a side of lemon potatoes. My favorite dish was the wood-fired olives. Simple, but so very good. She loved the halloumi so much, we got a second order (it is a super small serving). The spanikopita, on the other hand, was quite large and meant for sharing. We're vegetarian and found the options both bountiful and delectable. While it is a bit on the pricey end of the spectrum, I'd say it's worth it.

This review is mainly geared toward the food, because my partner and I did a pick-up order around…read more9:30 pm. This food was the best halal I've had in the local area. We got one classic chicken over rice with white, hot, and green sauce - add pepper and onions. Then we also tried the chicken chapli over rice with green and white sauce, add peppers and onions. I've never had chicken chapli before and it was so good. Everything was packed with flavor, even the rice. Typically we've found halal places near us to be lacking on the rice flavor but this was delicious through and through. The classic chicken over rice was super delicious as well, their hot sauce definitely packs a punch. Our only qualm of the dishes was that the chicken over rice could have used more white sauce, but it was fine. Our order was available at the time we requested, so they are definitely efficient. Ambience is a classic halal joint, a few tables and the order counter. Nothing special, but that's not what you are coming for. We will definitely be back to try more dishes!

I clearly just received a combo over rice that had been sitting my guess the original person didn't…read morepickup their order and you saw another order for combo over rice and sent it up without reading the ticket . You can tell because the rice is all stuck together and clumped up same as if you put it in the fridge to heat up later. My special requests wasn't met at all , it literally ask for extra red sauce and sauce under the rice as well . Idk what's so hard to comprehend when someone ask for extra hot sauce . Sorry i don't want plain rice with a small drizzle of sauce . As someone that goes here regularly this shit is so inconsistent, ive been to other naz halal that get it right and read the custom tickets. On top of that the cheesesteak also asked for red sauce and oh look , no red sauce on there either . As someone that likes my food extra spicy , if I ask for extra spice . It's disappointing you can't do that. Oh and they're slowly becoming like chipotle where they're rationing the meat and just giving tons of rice . Note this location has been a headache from the start , as my past reviews are from a year ago and this location.
