Her salon was clean and organized, and such a welcoming place to walk into! Her little, super calm and well behaved dog Boo welcomed me at the door. Friendly, and such a polite and well behaved dog!! Rosie greeted me as well, and I waited only a minute. Then she was ready for me! She asked me what I was wanting or any pictures, which I had an example of what I wanted. She then started me off with a shampoo, and began the most relaxing soothing haircut. She was professional, skilled, and tackled my overgrown mane with assertive snips. She was completely lovely the entire cut, made sure I was comfortable and happy! End result is a VERY PLEASED lady with a lot less hair! Completely ecstatic and will be seeing Rosie again!

I've always had trouble with my eyebrows--it's so uneven and one is always thinner and off-centered compared to the other. From ALL of the threading places I've ever been to (trust me, I've been to many), this lady was THE BEST! I'm just so upset I forgot to ask for her name! She evened it out, made my arch symmetrical on both sides, and I've never been happier with my eyebrows!! I'm from San Diego so I come from a place with lots of competition for threading salons and by far, this place leaves them in the dust...well I should say..the lady I had at this place leaves the other salons in the dust. As long as this lady is at this salon, I'll be a loyal customer.

I've never been anywhere that has taken all my questions and worries into such thorough consideration. D'ray was my artist and HOLY COW, she's amazing! I have thin, curly hair and was going from fairly long hair to a bob. My biggest fear was that a cut that short would emphasize how thin my hair is. D'ray listened to my concerns and understood easily what I wanted. She gave me tons of recommendations for how to care for my hair, yet I never felt talked down to. D'ray answered all my questions with poise & sincerity. I felt like I was talking to a friend I'd known forever, not someone I had just met. I love the cut. After looking at her Yelp pictures and reviews, I decided to go ahead and book my appointment. (Love how easy it was, btw!) Now the salon is at Salons by JC, so do not go to jc penny's like I did at first! Once there, Jaymee immediately put me at ease by giving suggestions and asking questions about what I wanted (to chop off inches and color a balayage). The process took a few hours, so if you're going for this, be sure to block off an afternoon. I really appreciated that she scheduled enough time for me and didn't overbook. She worked on me and only me, which I loved! When she finished styling my now shorter and highlighted hair, I took one look and said, "I have Pinterest hair now!" She made me look amazing!!! I would 100% recommend her and will definitely be going back. Her price was reasonable, her attitude was amazing and I literally feel like a new person! I only wish I could have her style my hair everyday!
