I needed a pedicure while visiting Billings on business. Coming here was a great find!! The owner,…read moreThanh, was so friendly and did a fabulous job. She was careful and thorough with her work. The best pedicure I've ever had. I highly recommend this business.

BEWARE I'm beyond…read moredisappointed with my experience at Precious Nail and Spa. I brought photos of an ombré fade into a soft white French tip and was told it was "no problem," but after 3.5+ hours it was clear the technician didn't know how to do it. Even after messing it up twice, he kept attempting it instead of being honest-wasting my time and leaving a bad result. The pedicure was awful: my toenails were cut way too short, I didn't get the polish color I chose, and the wax on my left foot was so hot it burned me. When I pulled away and said it was burning, he didn't apologize, just said, "Oh, that's too hot," and moved on. The pedicure also looked sloppy with leftover white polish around the edges. Then the nail service got worse-tool issues, constant hand repositioning, and when I said I didn't like the uneven, speckled look, he got dismissive, rolled his eyes, and walked away. I also scheduled and paid for a full manicure that was never done, yet | was still charged. I was there from 12:30 PM to 4:17 PM, left with nails | didn't ask for, a burned foot, and a $195 bill. No professionalism, no accountability, no customer care. Again the first picture is what I asked for and they were like. Oh yes, absolutely no problem messing it up two times and having speckled white spots all over my nails they had to redo it again and I just ended up with French tips. ‍

In search of a last-minute pedicure, I decided to try a couple of things I haven't tried before:…read more The Yelp app for getting quotes and this salon. It worked better than I anticipated. VIP is a nice salon that does a good job of keeping the flow of customers moving. Although they do take walk-ins, best only to try that at non-peak hours. They even have Sunday appointments, but that's definitely an appointment only day. The ceiling lights are covered with screens that make it look like a sunny day with the cumulus clouds and a few stray butterflies on wire dangling in a couple of places. The window on the side have a screen with a beach scene. Both of these things lend VIP toward the sit-and-relax atmosphere. There are several different levels of manicures and pedicures available, depending on how far into the spa style you want to go. They're a nice group of people, will talk or not depending on you, but I've noticed a lean more towards the "no talk" during pedicures, but "let's chat" during manicures. Shellac and regular polish is available depending on how long you want the polish to last. They also offer some "natural" products as part of the mani or pedi.

When I asked him to fix my index nail he shaped crooked, the rest of the service he started digging his nails into my hand and overly aggressively yanking on my fingers. He refused to do what I asked for so I asked to just pay for what he did and leave. He tried to charge me $15 over the listed price, and I left with WAY too short, pointy, uneven, bulbous, unfinished nails. Not to mention the layer of gunk cured to my skin around my nails. I feel like he ruined my nails on purpose, because there's no way someone is actually that bad at what they do

I didn't get around to using it until the following year (my bday is in the fall). The massage therapist had left the state in December. After a highly cranky phone call (on my part) the owner said she would honor the gc even though they no longer have massage offered. I go in this weekend so I can give a better review. My first time around was more of an extreme trim. Will say that I was expecting a fancier interior. with a name like Elite you'd expect chandeliers and bright lights. I'm a fan of bling. ;)

Initially when I went there to be waxed, I was greeted very professionally and cheerfully by the salon staff while I waited for Ms. Sarphie, but the salon staff became very weird and cold after a while, like they just hated me and the esthetician. One of the stylists said some really horrendous things about Ms. Sarphie one time when I was early. Later I got a pedicure from Ms. Sarphie and it was the creepiest experience of my life. I felt like I was an enemy in foreign territory, Afterward the salon staff called and told the owner that I was too loud. Seriously? I've had hundreds of pedicures and acted the same at them all, and I was always welcomed back. It was EXTREMELY clear that these salon girls HATED Ms. Sarphie, although she was always very cheerful and cordial with them. I had been looking for a full service salon, and thought I'd found it, as Ms. Sarphie had recommended their hair cutting, coloring and gel nails, but the vibe was so snotty and weird and uncomfortable that I never made an appointment beyond waxing. I dreaded the place. Ms. Sarphie, however was warm, friendly, professional and incredibly good at her job. She only said good things about Elite's staff and owner and recommended their services highly. Actually Ms. Sarphie completely rehabilitated my eyebrows after some bad waxing. I recommend HER highly. She now works at Hair on Main in Laurel, where the staff has been very welcoming and is now my full service salon. Walk down the street - there are nice people there who want your business.
