She either looked over my chart, or spoke with the nurse before meeting me, and started our conversation right away addressing my situation. This may seem so small- but I can tell you it's not the norm for other physicians in the industry. I've seen the same OBGYN multiple days in a row, even while getting ready for surgery- and had them suggest multiple times that I could start a "new" medication, when I'm already on that medication. In a busy practice with lots of patients I can only imagine how difficult it is to be on time and keep things straight, but it's a terrible feeling when you're at some of your lowest moments to realize your doctor doesn't have the faintest idea who you are and couldn't be bothered to glance at your chart before scurrying into your room. Dr. Bannon made me feel like a person who mattered, and that is a lost gift. She did not make me feel rushed, and took the time to talk about my concerns and answered all of my questions. I'm so, so relieved I found her. Definitely worth the wait in trying to make an appointment and see her for the first time.

After dealing with infertility for over 7 years, I truly never thought I would be able to conceive. Dr. Fady Sharara changed my life for the better--he gave me hope when I felt like there was none, and I will forever be grateful for that. His expertise, compassion, and dedication made all the difference for me. I'm so thankful for the protocol he created that worked for my situation, and I genuinely hope he can continue to help others who are just like me find their own success and happiness. A huge thank you to his wonderful nurses, Jill and Jessica, who were always there with kindness, patience, and reassurance whenever I needed it most. They made such a difference in my experience. I also want to recognize Maggie and Trisha at the front desk. No matter what kind of day I was having, they always greeted me with warmth and a smile, making me feel welcome and cared for. This journey isn't always easy, but having a team like this behind you makes all the difference. I'm beyond grateful for everyone at VCRM for their support and dedication, and I'm so excited for this new chapter ahead.

After the consultation with him and interacting with the staff, my husband and I trusted him to help us on our fertility journey. Dr. Sharara is very knowledgeable and an expert in the field, which made me feel comfortable and confident in putting our trust in him. I appreciated that he did a very thorough and comprehensive diagnostic work up to figure out the best treatment plan. As someone who is also in the healthcare field, I very much appreciate having more data. The nurses (Ava and Jessica), billing coordinator (Trish), and other staff (Maggie) were also wonderful. Compared to the brief experience that I had with a large fertility clinic, VCRM felt like a white glove service. I graduated this week from the clinic at eight and a half weeks pregnant and am incredibly grateful to Dr. Sharara and the entire VCRM team for their guidance, care, and support. I know that I'm very lucky to have only had to do one round of IVF and for the first transfer to be successful. Dr. Sharara gave me agency to decide when to start IVF (I personally didn't want to spend much time doing IUI) and was supportive of all my decisions as long as they were medically sound. I highly recommend Dr. Sharara and the entire VCRM staff!

Three years ago, Dr. Kim personally performed a Pap smear test, but the test couldn't be processed because there wasn't enough cell collection. I returned today -- three years later -- for a follow-up. As always, I arrived 20 minutes early and was waiting in the reception area. When Dr. Kim came out, I greeted her, but she looked noticeably displeased and asked why I was there. I explained that I had an appointment and was waiting. From that moment, she began reprimanding me for arriving too early, saying she was in the middle of seeing another patient and that having the next patient waiting in the reception area was something she hated the most. She then told me to go outside and wait until she called me by phone. I had never heard anything like that before. There was no notice anywhere stating that patients are not allowed to wait in the reception area if another patient is being seen. She had never mentioned such a policy in advance either. And, of course, I was simply doing what I have always done -- arriving 20 minutes early and waiting quietly. My husband was with me, and we both felt awkward and almost as if we had been kicked out. I don't know when this policy started, but she justified it by saying it was to protect the privacy of the patient she was currently seeing. I have never encountered anything like this at any other doctor's office. And this particular office is not even an open space where privacy would be at risk. For me, this was an altogether unprecedented and profoundly disconcerting experience. If such a protocol is indeed her preference, then surely the appropriate course would be to communicate these expectations clearly and courteously before the appointment -- rather than delivering reprimands that leave patients feeling unwelcome and diminished. A medical environment should be a place of comfort and care, not one where patients are made to feel as though they have transgressed. Regardless of whatever personal or professional pressures she may be facing, her manner toward patients remains unacceptable. If she finds herself unable to approach her practice with the attentiveness and compassion it requires, perhaps it would be wise to step back temporarily -- or to consider whether this work still aligns with her capacity to serve patients with dignity. I had gone to my appointment expecting a calm and comfortable visit, but instead I was met with an upsetting and embarrassing situation I had never anticipated.

I had heard great things of CWC, so I decided to give them a try. I'm upset that I ever gave them a chance. I have never had such a difficult time getting in contact with the doc (Tran) - no follow-ups, no callbacks to multiple messages, no sharing of results that were weeks and weeks overdue; and, all this due to an improper administration of tests - how is that even possible? And, to top it off, have you ever heard of a front desk receptionist giving patients some vague results of a test?! Seriously?! The receptionists have complete disregard to your privacy, your time, and dismisses you and all of your concerns. Did I mention that they laugh at you, too? Yes, you read that correctly. They are awful. Avoid CWC at all costs. +HIPAA/patient confidentiality not respected +no communication with docs +worst front desk, ever

If you are concerned about your age, weight, fertility, etc. do your self a favor and find someone else who will be kinder and less fat phobic. She's incredibly unprofessional and rude. I especially do not recommend seeing Dr. Hersh if you are struggling with infertility, have PCOS, or are overweight/obese. On my first visit for PCOS she painted the absolute worst case scenario for fertility, telling me I would likely need to spend up to $50,000 on IVF to conceive my first child if I don't lose weight. This was before reading any of my medical records or talking to me about my concerns. I'm all for realistic information and don't want things sugar coated, but Dr. Hersh was thoughtless and hurtful. Further, I'm 34 and she told me I needed to freeze my eggs asap or else my kid would be more likely to get a host of terrible genetic conditions. I got several other opinions and they were all much more fact based on risks and said at this point my husband and I didn't need to worry about freezing my eggs upon actual medical testing. They were so much more positive and kind. Dr. Hersh also did not give me any warning before putting the clamps in during my appointment. Also the nurse couldn't figure out how to draw my blood and it took many mess ups and a supervisor to get it out. Of course it sometimes take a few tries but this was not normal.
