I asked if she could do a 60 minute massage and she said ok and told me to go into a room. She stands there and stares at me as i start taking off my jacket and asks "You pay cash?" I said "Yes I have cash." She goes to leave and then turns around and said something along the lines of "pay in advance" and I was confused as I've never been told that before. I asked how much and she pointed to a paper sign on the wall that said $60 for 60 minute massage. (There was also a note on the sign saying Do Not Ask For Illegal Services as well...) So I handed her a $50 and a $20 bill and she took it and walked out. I'm laying on the massage table under this paper thin sheet and she opens the door again and says something about a receipt. I said ok and she leaves again. After a few more minutes she comes back and puts the receipt down and asks me if I want a medium massage or hard. I said hard is ok. (She never did ask me if I wanted Shiatsu or Aromatherapy massage as was listed on the wall). She starts giving me this very vigorous quick massage for about 3 minutes when the door bell goes off very loudly and she sighs and walks out of the room. She starts talking very loudly to a man in her language and it seems like they are shouting at each other, but I don't know if that's normal. She said something about 60 minutes and he left. She comes back in and starts massaging me again and 30 seconds later what I think is another man comes in and she sighs again upset and leaves and goes and talks to him. She basically tells him to come back in 30 minutes. She comes back into the room and crouches down by my face as I'm laid down and says "you ok with 30 min? I give you $20 back." I'm like no, I gave you $70 for a 60 minute massage. You said ok to 60 minutes and made me pay in advance. I'm not paying $50 for a 30 minute massage when your price is only $60 for a 60 minute. She keeps arguing with me trying to get me to agree for 30 minutes. I get up off the table and said you know what I'm just going to leave. (It was already not going well, didn't seem like i'd be getting a good massage and it was clear she would rather see male clients for 30 min appointments or whatever than me for my 60 minute i had already prepaid for). I said no I am not paying $50 for a 30 minute massage again, and she's like "baby it's $40 for 30 and you give $10 tip for me". I said the $10 tip you just took and i expected a 60 minute massage not a 30 minute". She keeps calling me baby and saying why no tip baby and it's so busy, so busy, owner not here. It's very weird. And it was completely dead when i walked in and she agreed to do 60 minutes for me. I said no I just want to leave and get a refund as I'm standing in front of her pretty much naked, i start to get dressed. She keeps begging me to stay for a 30 minute and i just said no and grabbed my jacket. She ran and got my $70 back and gives it to me and says "Nice lady you have nice day nice lady" and I left. So whatever is going on here, it sure seems like they would rather rush a girl out and keep their male clients happy. Somehow I don't believe that they "don't" offer illegal services here as mentioned on their paper price list.

She poked my face skin with the needle (leaving me with little bump scars) and did not remove one single hair permanently. thank God I do not have Keloid prone skin. A correct Electrolysis procedure goes like this; the esthetician slides a thin needle down the shaft of hair to the root then sends an electric pulse to the base of the hair to kill the root, where then the hair is suppose to slide out effortlessly. Kelly was poking my flesh with the needle (slowly) and then zapping me and then pulling the hair very slowly from my skin ( even though it the hair was showing resistance and still fully attached). I was in a lot of pain and upset because I knew was what she was doing was wrong. Then she asked me 2 or 3 times to pluck my eyebrows, I said No thank you (Nobody touches my brows besides me). Then she proceeds after numerous NO's to try and pluck the hairs at the edge off my brow. ( Like HELLO I SAID NO !!!!!!) wtf why? Also there's a strange urine ammonia smell going on down there I don't know what's causing it but the other client seemed not to notice as nothing was mentioned. hmm And when I brought it up to Kelly she said it was incense. incense riiiiiiiight. When she was done the poking and zapping and plucking she called electrolysis I was bleeding and the holes in my skin turned to scabs then scars. This happened months ago and I'm still upset I payed $35 to this woman for scars and pain no results!!! Don't bother waste your time, money or energy. This is my story beware.

Instead of a big communal room, the place is partitioned into little rooms, so you get more privacy, even if the partitions don't completely block out all noises. Once you sit down, they offer you a pot of hot tea, brewed with their blend of tea and medicinal herbs, according to the lady. Now, I admit bottled water is more convenient and sanitary, but part of me still feel that a pot of tea is more soothing, welcoming and personal. Unlike other foot massage parlors, over here the foot soak is just that. You just sit and soak your feet, no neck and shoulder pampering. I guess that's how they can advertise 60 min for a low price of $30. You get 45 min real massage time, but nonetheless it's still a good value, and the skill and pressure is there, enough to make me feel rejuvenated afterwards. Won't mind going back.
