Response to stephanie - you're right you didn't install them . Your stylist moved them up and the first time I had to come back the next day because they were not "" moved up. After the second time coming in I washed my hair and now my extensions are coming out and beads falling out !!!! You placed blame on others when it was YOUR stylist and you got upset with the answers I gave you . I WILL NO LONGER respond to your untruths. My real hair was over processed at your salon that CHUNKS have fallen out !!! Be kinder and professional . You are the worst owner I have ever interacted with . BEWARE everyone look at the yelp reviews and pictures . More than one customer says the exact things I do . With pictures !!! Zero stars !

Professionally, friendly, hilarious conversation and great music for positive vibes & energy the entire time. Don't think about it, just book your appointment. My super uneven ends

I won't be coming back. I had an appointment scheduled and arrived on time . I got there and there was nobody at the desk to greet me or check me in so I was just standing at the front waiting. Someone finally comes over and it already seems like she's rushing and not focused on our appointment. She told me there was no warm water but we could still do the rinse, before I said anything, she basically had already decided she just wasn't going to wash it and she started asking abt the cut. So I literally just got a trim and she charged me the price for my original service. This is probably the worst haircut I've gotten for this price and I will never be returning.

I go to the one at 67th but I couldn't find a place to write a review for them and I know they're the same. However, I want to take the time to say how much I appreciate them always being able to get me in they've done my hair and make up for several different events, but most recently my wedding. They are always so kind and compassionate. They really make you feel like family. With lots of laughter and jokes! If you are needing your make up done for anything, I highly recommend them !!!

I've been coming here since October 2024 and get my hair done by Hiyam and she has been absolutely amazing!! She does root touch ups for me (to cover the grays) every month and it's such a good deal! She also does my highlights and haircuts and I always leave super happy with the results! I can't recommend Hiyam at Hair House enough! I had been going to same hair stylist for 15 years and took a chance and made the switch to Hiayam at Hair House and I couldn't be happier with my decision! Sometimes it's scary to change up your hair stylist but if you're thinking about it... go ahead and take the chance with Hiyam!!

First attempt brown hair was phosphorescent red tinted in the sun at least they use brown beads, but it fell out

First of all, I've noticed a lot of these reviewers say that they spent a long I mean a ridiculously long time in the salon for services that shouldn't have taken that long and I too have that experience. They also said that the girls come across as friendly which they do. The problem is is they are incompetent and they gaslight you. They say that it looks good or that they can fix it and they don't or they make it worse. They also only offer partial refunds it seems even though They gave you a faulty product and or ruined your hair, causing you to come out of pocket financially to fix their mistakes. There's only so many times you can go back and realize that they are so incompetent that they're not going to be able to fix your hair. It will just get worse. I've had to file a dispute to get my money back. Don't go there for hair extensions. they don't know what they're doing. They will use the wrong colored threads and beads mismatch hair. Tell you that it's lighter when it's actually not promised to do things to your hair that they can't deliver on and your extensions will fall out of your head because they're not capable. There's really no way to tell what brand of hair that is. The hair consistency and quality is vastly different across the one line of different bags that they carry. Stephanie, not the owner the stylist did my extensions first actually her work looked a lot better even though she's inexperienced than the manager of The Hair extension whose name is HIYAM the only way that my hair could've turned out looking this way the second time is if it was retaliatory for coming back in a second time, even though they said they wanted to help me fix it. They acknowledge that what they did was wrong. They acknowledge that my brown roots were very very red, and they acknowledged that the hair extension, Stephanie put in fell out But the second time HIYAM used white beans, white string swapped some of the original hair out and the entire thing is mismatched ratty dry Joel and looks terrible. No cut no blending was offered and they're trying to keep over $500 from the transaction Thing too bad it's your hair and I told them that The Hair is bad quality and I also told them that because I've been in there twice and the manager did such a bad job. She also didn't fix my red roots. She attempted to, but she actually made them worse and then said she wanted to dye them dark all over again. I was supposed to have bright blonde highlights. This did not happen. They didn't listen to any of my request requests they didn't know if Stephanie used a permanent or Demi permanent so they did not use the right developer. I even told them they needed to use a stronger developer and they didn't listen. There's no way I could trust them to attempt to fix it all over again. When I pointed out that the beads were white, and the string was white She told me it's no big deal. It doesn't look that bad. You're blonde will cover it. Well, I would like to wear my hair up in different ways. I don't just want to keep my hair the same weight every time to cover your botched white beads. I have tried to email numerous times and let them know it's going to cost for removal and for color correction and my hair is extremely dry from whatever they put on it. So just because they might not be able to return The Hair and recoup their money they should take the loss because I shouldn't have to pay to correct their mistakes. I've offered to exchange the hair that was swapped out for the original hair. I've asked for the original bag that it came in along with the order date and order number, so I know exactly what it is and I've offered to pay a total of $100 to walk away and keep this hair. Not 500. That's less the cost. It's going to cost me to remove the botched job and do color correction and treatment. They have not gotten back to me. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and other consumer agencies. I will not stop until I have a fair resolution. Being nice and friendly does not equate with being competent or fair. They can smile and be kind all they want, but what they did and how they've treated me turned out that they were not so kind. Madison and Baida were very sweet and even tried to help in both occurrences and it seems like they should be the manager and doing the hair extensions.

Pricing online when I scheduled. Was told it wasn't listed in their system and was going to have to pay like double this.

I have been a customer since 2021, seeing a lot of stylists here for various services over the last 3 years. I will no longer be coming back and am looking elsewhere for my hair services. Each time I have returned over the last year or so.. I leave frustrated and upset. The service has gone down terribly. The stylists all seem to have a bit of an attitude - which I don't have the time or patience for. The last couple times the prices that I get charged are listed differently online when I schedule my appointment. This last service I scheduled a split end mender, and a very light dusting to take the split ends not a hair cut. And was told it was going to be like double what was listed online. Even challenged at the register because "it was not what was listed in their system" i attached a screen shot for the service i booked and was told she is honoring it this time- but will not be the next time- i won't be back. The stylists seem to leave the salon quicker than i can even book a returning service. My money is better spent elsewhere and for the service i get - it's way overpriced. The last fr stylist didn't even rinse the treatment out of my hair.

Monday I get a phone call maybe 10 minutes into my appointment time and I asked "Did you check your voicemail?" Then I was informed with an attitude that they do not work on Sundays. I am sorry that the universe allows emergencies to occur between Sundays and Mondays. Life happens! Then after I hang up they had the audacity to send me an invoice for $50 that WILL not be paid. Even prior to my 1st appointment I had to "pre-pay" which I have never done, not even at high end salons. I can understand if I was a "repeat offender" but just like attorneys, dentists and doctors there are salons everywhere. What a way to keep your client base!!! I do not even do this if a patient does not show up for an appointment at my office. Again, consider the situation?? They didn't ask about the situation it was all about the money. If a repeat offender of course I get it but things happen in life that take more important precedence than a haircut appointment. So if you are new and want to have to pre-pay for your service before even walking thru the door or EVER have an emergency 24 hours prior to your appointment DO NOT GO HERE-find a better salon!!!!!!!!!!
