The layout is spacious - you hear others around you but never feel in someone else's space or conversation. Reanna gave me a lovely haircut today complete with styled curls. She listened to my hair concerns, offered options, and checked in throughout to see if the cut and style was going as I hoped. I would definitely return here again and recommend to others. Everyone is really nice here. There's a coffee and water station by the entrance if you want something to drink during your service. There's also lots of great natural light coming in to the salon. I took a quick look through their price list and everything seems to be pretty reasonable and on par with other places in the area. I had previously been told by other salons that it wasn't possible to go as light as I wanted, and always left with a weird orangey-brassy tone. All salon services start with a free stress-relieving head & neck massage (as is custom with most Aveda salons). In my experience, the stylists have all been attentive, friendly, and efficient - and their work is excellent. They know how to cut hair in such a way that it not only looks gorgeous in the salon, but also after you wash it and even as it grows out. The prices are on the higher end of the scale (especially if you see a senior stylist), but considering the quality of the cut and the excellent service, the prices are very fair. I can't personally vouch for the other services offered here (colour, facials, massages), but I did buy my mum a massage package for Mother's Day a couple years ago and she loved it. When I asked the stylist what we could do to fix it, the other girls in the salon came over and asked what the problem was, not taking responsibility for any action. I was told that they did not have time to fix it and was given a colour stripping shampoo to maybe take some of the colour out. Then I was booked in 5 days later to fix the problem. The cut is horrible as well. 1 side is longer than the other. I will never go back to this establishment.

Im old. So I'll take any improvements!!! They use high end products and I ended up buying some ombre products which are top of the line stuff. Now the "selling point" for me - a senior level stylist stepped in, listened to my concerns, gave some pointers to the first stylist, and totally turned the whole experience around. My two small qualms in the last review, that kept it from being 5 stars, were a) there was never a beverage offered and b) scalp massages were not included. Well, both of those items can be scratched off the list. I am offered a beverage when I sit down and my scalp is always beautifully massaged. The ladies here are truly artists.
