I really appreciated that the stylist I came to see noticed some flaws in the cut I had previously received and helped me towards fixing the error in the future, although it would take a bit of growth to correct. She also sounded like she'd help you get the look you want, but would advise you against things that would really damage your hair, which I completely respect. It was such a good experience that I've already booked my next appointment.

Well I was wrong and I'm happy I was. Needless to say Christina Domenelli Salon is an great salon! When I first walked in I kid you not, I felt under dressed as the salon is modern and feels high class. How I came to the salon...well...my dad has been going here for a while said I had to try it out and lets be real...if your dad said hey go to my salon what do you picture. Some old barber shop in some sketchy part of Edmonton where some 80year old man named Joe has the shakes and sits you down with a buzzer. Um no thanks. Long story short I got a gift card from him for this salon and was like hell why not. Now Christina Domenelli, not the salon the actual person. Yes she's an actual person who owns the salon and works there too. CRAZY I know. She is just WOW! She's this hot little mama who is so down to earth, realistic and just great! I'm planning on getting my hair and makeup done at this salon for my wedding next year and she goes WAY beyond the limits. I feel bad that the last reviewer didn't have a good experience, but I do understand that this isn't a salon for everyone. I've had a couple colourings and cuts that weren't exactly what I had in mind but they will work with you to get you what you want. My only complaint and biggest issue is the cost, it is expensive. My last cut and colour (highlights) that I got was damn near $400, I almost cried. A lot of salons offer the same thing for a fair bit less.

She gave me the steps on how to get it done. I haven't had someone help me so much before. I am not the kind of human who does much with their hair, mostly for lack of ability. I has been a month since I was there and not once have I had any regrets. The salon is easy to get too from 156 street. There is ample parking. Friendly staff all around. There was a candy bar when you walk in, you already stole my heart! Now, my pervious review wasn't terrible; there was a lot that I liked about the salon. He felt, however, that they could do better. He was right. First, he told me that the stylist that did my hair for my first visit was no longer with them due to the quality of her work. I also found out that I never received their customary follow up call, even though it had been marked down that I had. To get me to give them another go, and to restore my confidence in the salon, he offered a cut and style on the house. I already had a cut and style booked for that weekend, as I was going to a wedding, but I assured him I would get in touch for anything I needed in the future. Lo and behold, the appointment I had fell through, and not only did he manage to squeeze me in on short notice, he came in early to make sure he could help me out. Aside from going above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my salon experience, I am in love with my cut. Roshan listened to me and made suggestions, and I can honestly say I haven't been this happy with my hair in years. He actually took the time to explain what he saw as problem areas in my hair and talked about what he was going to do to fix the issues. I got many complements on my hair, and that hasn't happened since my wedding. Bottom line: I am so happy to have found a business that will go out of the way to fix things that have gone wrong, and I will be back.

The front staff welcomed me warmly, brought me a badly needed, and very nice cup of coffee, and introduced me to Kaitlyn, my hair's new best friend.
