I try this salon today under new owners .. wow I must say that the service was wonderful..I originally came in to do some highlights but since the new management just took over recently on 9/1/2024 The owner gave me a hair treatment for free today due to my damaged hair. I got one of best haircuts of my life here! The hairdresser, didn't get his name, was so attentive, experienced, and professional. He took his time, even with my curly hair. My daughter got a hair dye with another gentleman, that was a little price. But my haircut and style was so great and affordable. There was a bit of a language issue at first, they speak Mandarin, but the receptionist lady helped. I highly recommend this place. I love my hair, so shiny and perfect length. read more

Amazing hair stylist. I got a perm and a haircut and she did it perfectly and was very attentive. I had made an appointment for 1pm. When I first arrived, the hair stylist immediately greeted me and there was no wait. She was welcoming and friendly. I wanted my hair short and she made sure multiple times throughout the process that I was okay with the look. She first cut my hair a little bit before putting in the perm rods. I had hair that was pretty short so it was really difficult to put in the rods. But, she was able to do it regardless of the length and was very knowledgeable. She explained what she was doing throughout the whole process. Then, she put in the softener and perm solution and we waited. My hair was like virgin hair so a softener was necessary but when I had gotten a perm somewhere else, they had skipped this step. I'm glad that she knew to use this. She made me feel comfortable even though we had to wait 40 minutes for the perm to be completed. I wasn't nervous because she seemed very knowledgeable. She didn't use the stronger solution because she was worried it would be too strong. She was right to go with the lesser strength solution and there was little hair damage. When the perm was out, I was really scared because it was so curly. So, I panicked and didn't let her cut my hair. Keep in mind, I had never gotten a perm before so I was unprepared for the amount of nice curls I got. So I went home and immediately washed it. This ruined my hair. I wanted to cry because of how frizzy my hair was after I washed it. But, she was super helpful and understanding. She listened to my problem and told me to come back to the salon the same day. She helped me fix my hair and my hair looked much better. She even taught me how to style it. I love my haircut now and I couldn't rave more about it. It compliments my features well and I am so happy with how it turned out. Definitely would go here again. I would recommend anyone who wants an attentive and skilled hair stylist to go here. I literally just got back from an appointment. I had a Groupon for a "women's haircut with blowdry, any length." The woman there was very nice and the wash was great. The haircut was fine also (or so I thought). I told her I wanted the blowdry to give me volume. She started the blowout and it was frizzy. I told her just make sure it's not frizzy and it's fine. A couple mins later she decided it was taking too long and asked if she can straighten it with a flat iron. That is veryyy different from a blowdry but I said yes because it was obvious the blowdry would be a frizzy mess. After an hour, she was done and when showing her the Groupon she asked if I was going to tip (I already planned to but she was very forward). My hair did not look like I intended and I already planned to go home but I decided to tip $6. She very nice up until this very moment. She proceeded to ask for more money, "at least $10" and when I told her it's because the service isn't want I asked for she then said "you should go somewhere else" and "don't come back here. I'm sorry." I was in shock and ended up just walking out because I'm not a confrontational person. I thought I was being very considerate and nice letting her do what she wanted because she couldn't style my hair. Look at the photos! That was 20 mins after leaving the appointment. Well I took a chance and attempted to try something new with an ad on Groupon. What a sham! I had an appt for 10:00 am and when I got there the place was closed ! After calling several times hoping they were professional enough to have an answering service or the salon phone forwarded to cell Phones I waited until 10:20 then left. This was not a local place for me . Utterly shameful at the pure lack of any professionalism and decency to notify customers of the my were going to be late or late unexpectedly close . And to top it off they were operating illegally since there is a sign on the door dated1/3/2023 from the health inspector stating they needed to cease operations immediately because they failed the health inspection !!! When k made my appt on 1/27/2024 they were open ! Do not try this place if I could give zero stars I would ! Shameful ! read more

My hair is wow-status right now! Yesterday, I called here for a last minute appt, after reading online, that it was one of the top ten places to go for a keratin treatment. I had tried to cut my hair at home-and it was a real hack job. The guy who did my hair had a thick accent (maybe Chinese?) and it ended up being like a silent appt- which I have never had, and LOVED. My hair was done in two hours- as promised. The haircut was EXACTLY like the pic I showed and I couldn't be happier with the keratin treatment. The price was the cheapest I found- after shopping around. And it was 1/4 of the cost of the highest place. Great quality at a great price. And got me in same day- great convenience! I gave a 35% tip- amazing service and a cost savings- I couldn't help it! They are honestly worth double what I paid. read more

Beware! Inexperienced and ruined my hair. Claimed she knew how to do Japanese straightening, but clearly really did not. She broke of 30% of my hair at the scalp and fried a big patch of it underneath. I should have known she was wrecking my hair by her sloppy technique straightening it and the way she was applying the product. I have had this done for years and never had a issue. I don't dye lighten my hair or use heat on it, so it was very healthy. Now i have spikes of broken hair popping up everywhere and will have issues for a very long time before it grows out. I held off on leaving a review because things happen and I was leaving for a vacation. She did refund my money. I had to drive over an hour to get it done and then over an hour just to get my refund. I came for a cut and left with a cut and a color treatment--I absolutely love my new hair color!!! The haircut was great until i asked for bangs...i don't think my face is meant for bangs lol. I went there for the first time last week. I wanted a pixie cut. I brought several pictures. I could tell that the hair dresser wasn't sure about the cut even after the pictures. As pixie cuts go, they are very short all over. I could tell the stylists was confident. I asked several time that if she didn't feel OK I would leave, no problem. I should have left but I thought since she was a professional she could do this. She couldn't. I was terribly unhappy with the results. When I told her she said if I stay she can fix it. I no longer trusted her and told her that and left. She is probably fine for long hair, for short hair stay away. read more

I do not recommend coming here unless you do not care how your hair is cut or the hair length you walk out with. I went there for the first time and it will be the last time. I gave her a picture of how I wanted my hair cut including the length so there would be no mistakes. The picture shows hair that falls at least 4" under the chin line plus I clearly told her I did not want the sides cut. I walked in with the sides of my hair almost to my shoulders and the back of my hair touching my shoulders and walked out with the sides barely under my ear lobes and no hair falling on my neck never mind my shoulders as she cut it up to the top of the nape of my neck. Besides being almost scalped what is left is all chopped up. When I said I was not happy with my hair cut she said my hair wasn't long enough to cut it like I wanted it cut. Really, my hair when I walked in was much longer than the picture I had given her. I also found the place unattended when I got there but unfortunately she showed up before I left the parking lot. I guess the bright side of this is I won't need another haircut for at least 5-6 months. read more

I was impressed by they way they listened to me and had such a strong commitment to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. They listened and asked questions and then delivered beyond my expectations.
