It started with the consultation to make sure she knew what I wanted done. Then over to the sink, it moves!! Wash, shampoo, conditioner, and then a head massage, oh what a time! Then back to the chair to cut, she again went over what I asked and made sure I was happy with what I chose. She cut, dried, and styled it perfectly. After I was finished I asked about color, she gave me a few ideas and I will be calling them back to discuss it further. Really glad I got my hair done here, everyone was very nice.

When I commented that it was shorter than I wanted it, he dismissed my concern by pointing out that it's only short because it was curly. When does a stylist not blowdry the hair to show the cut?? I left the salon holding back tears. When I came home I straightened my hair to get a look at the cut. Confirming what I had said, it was entirely too short- MUCH shorter than was discussed. I decided I needed to call and address my concerns- wanting no more than an apology and just to feel heard- instead I was gaslighted, he was literally saying I told him things that he was the one to actually say to me!- He essentially blamed me for my own bad haircut and overall had my concerns dismissed and once again minimized. His only solution was to cut it shorter- demonstrating how little he was listening to my complaint- because my complaint was that he chopped off all of my hair- why would I want to go shorter?! Next time, just apologize to the customer for any misunderstandings and try and find a way to move forward. Deceptive practice and just awful customer service.

Adriana gave me an absolutely perfect 90s-style bouncy blowout, using only a hairdryer and a round brush, that held ALL night - I could not believe it didn't frizz up in the rain. Three days and a long plane ride later, and it's still smooth and wavy at the ends. My hair smelled amazing and had none of that hairspray crunch (though I know she used some).
