I tried so hard to act like I love my hair cut but I even went to another salon to ask them to show me how to style it and the women in the salon said "this woman did not like you cause what did she do to your hair" and it made me feel not so crazy cause the whole time the woman cut my hair with thinning scissors, my entire head. Which my hair is already thinning from post partum and now I can't even brush my hair to a side without looking bald. I cry everyday, If you don't know how to do a pixie you should say that before doing whatever she did to me. read more

Jake is an exceptional stylist. He is a great communicator and is very informative. He does an excellent job at cutting mens and womens hair. He has been cutting my family's hair for years. A few months ago I went to Hair Cuttery on Palm Bay Road for a haircut/style. I had 2 different styles in mind. The stylist recommended the one she thought would look better on me. However, the style ended up not being what I expected. The stylist, a novice, said I could return if I wasn't satisfied. I did return, however, she charged me again. I should have spoken to the manager, but I decided to just pay it and leave. Since then I've gone to a different salon twice to get it fixed. When a stylist says come back if you're not satisfied, they don't charge for a redo!! read more

I was serviced by Sarah, I asked for a hair trim , specifically for two inches off my long layers. When she was done. I took a look and was absolutely shocked. She must have taken 4 inches or more. I told her this seems way shorter than I wanted. She was quite. I feel like she should have showed me how much she was cutting before hand, because her idea of 2 inches isn't 2 inches. Also, my layers were not the same length form each side my whole left are is way longer and not blended well. I would not recommend. read more

Jessica is a miracle worker and true artist. I showed up sobbing after a hair cut gone awry from elsewhere. Jessica immediately did a consultation and scheduled me; she even came in early to help me. The color correction and hand painted balayage came out beautiful; she truly has an eye for color. She fixed my layers and made it better than the sample photo I showed. Jessica consults her clients every step of the way and communicates effectively and respectfully. I have always preferred to go to the Hair Cuttery to get my hair done though I had never decided that it was to be "THE SALON". Little over a year ago I had a really bad haircut experience at an unrelated business. The person just chopped my hair up, cut way too much off and left me looking like a mess and ashamed to go out in public. So I decided I'm not getting a haircut ever again...and then Florida happened and I couldn't handle the heat! So I decided to go to Hair Cuttery because I always had decent haircuts there. I wish that I knew the name of my hair stylist because this is the best haircut I've ever had in my life. I told her about my bad experience, she asked me questions, I showed her a couple pictures, I told her I wanted something that I could wash and wear but I could also spiff up and look fancy if I wanted to. Before she cut anything she showed me (with her hand) lengths and was very careful to ensure that her idea and my idea where the same and then she got started. She even checked in with me mid cut to make sure everything was okay at a point where she could have changed course if I needed her to. She went out of her way to make certain that I really took a good look at it before I walked out that door and I loved it. I chose to not get it blow dried and styled because I'm always wanting to know what it's going to look like when it dries naturally without stylists professional touch. I couldn't have been happier and even now two weeks later it's still the best cut I've ever had. I love it, it suits me, it's the perfect length, it's better than the picture that I gave her for an example! I mean this haircut is a fairytale dream come true! This location was sort of a new I think it's only been there since April and it's a little bit difficult to get to but it's right next to the Tijuana Flats that is on Palm Bay Road right near the Walmart Supercenter. They even occasionally send out coupons in the mail and their website almost always has deals from what I understand. My haircut was beyond reasonably priced as well though I did have a coupon that made it half off. On a regular day if you don't want styling done but you do want shampoo and cut you could walk in there with $20 and walk out happy most likely but you're going to want to bring some extra cash for a tip as these wonderful talented ladies really deserve it. The best part about this place is hands-down the fact that they are able to listen to their client and do what is asked and they give you a good consultation to let you know if the haircut that you're requesting is going to work with your lifestyle and if not they will teach you how to recreate the style that you want. read more

Smile back service is their slogan but maybe they haven't been through customer service training. Won't be coming back here ever. read more
