If I could give this no stars honestly I would - I showed them a picture and described how I wanted my hair cut and they messed up the front of my hair beyond belief. And cut my bangs way too short and I already have hair cut anxiety - Will never be going back here again. FYI if you're a Male or want a masculine hair cut please do not go here. They will mess up your hair beyond all belief this is THE WORST hair cut chain in the state of PA. Honestly I've been crying ever since I got outta this place and got made fun of. This is the Pennsylvania Equivalent to New Jersey's Great Clips which I also do not recommend for men's haircuts. read more

Update: thankfully my experience with the additional charge is not the norm based on a call I received from the floor manager. They will correct a problem for you if you go back shortly after the service. I have since corrected the problem elsewhere, but no hard feelings towards whoever misspoke. We all make mistakes and this can now be used as a learning experience. read more

Very unfriendly staff especially Stephanie who is miserable. I used her twice, first time chalked it up to her having bad day, 2nd time she barely said 2 words for the 2 1/2 hours I was there. i've been coming here for 10 years, and it's been ok until i found becka and she's been a blessing on my hair! i refuse to see anyone else, until today. the woman who did my hair, yelled at me for washing my hair every other day, hit me in the face with the brush/hair dryer multiple times, cut my hair MUCH SHORTER than i asked, and was an all around rude woman. she asked if i wanted my hair dried in curls or straight, i asked for straight and she blew the back straight and the front in curls. Sad! also to note: her hair is so fucking long that i got it up my nose and in my mouth while she was washing my hair. not a fun feeling being suffocated by a rude woman's hair. BUT: I SEE BECCA ALL THE TIME SHE IS THE ONLY PERSON I LET TOUCH MY HAIR! SHES MY FAVORITE PERSON ! I come here sometimes and honestly it depends on the stylist you get some of them can be rude asf and completely just say they don't have a time for you. Never heard of someone turning down almost 100 to do a dye job. Surprised this one hasn't gotten shut down or out of business yet read more

This is the first time I have ever posted a review. I felt prompted to do so afer the poor, no very poor service received today. I waited 45 minutes without so much as a hello to watch multiple walk in clients be taken for haircuts. I finally Had to leave in hopes of returning later in the night to get my kids a hair cut. I logged in and made an appointment this time for 7pm. I arrived to be told the water was not working and they were closing. I have 3 kids that normally get hair cuts at the same time, always tip 20% at least and rarely walk out without paying $60. There are so many other places to get a child's haircut, it just been convinent to go to this location for the past 2 years. I have to say this is the first time we had a poor experience but it only takes once! No way I'm going to risk this happening again. read more

i made an appointment 2 weeks early. i go at 9:40 and say we are here for the appointment. we tell them my name and they lied or something and said we dont have an appointment when we did since 2-3 weeks ago. this is unacceptable and happened twice. i will never be coming back to this hair salon. ive never cried over a hair appointment till now. i need someone to give me a refund and appointments ASAP. unacceptable. disappointing. i wish i could give this rating a 0. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. I have never been one to write a review, but my hair is finally getting back to normal after months of regrowth. I have surprisingly thick hair that you wouldn't know until you started messing with it. My hair was almost all one length to my collar bone with very long layers so I can curl it and make it messy and full, which is how I walked in with it done. I'm a hairdresser myself and was in a crunch for a cut and my manager at my salon couldn't do it. I walked in a told the woman, i wanted an inch off the length and clean up the layers because this is how I liked to wear my hair. Woman was very rude, barely talked to me, but thinking she knew what she was doing I let her cut my hair. Bad idea. I'm looking down and all of a sudden I see no lie 5 inches come off my layers, only after she had already done a couple sections, so there was no going back. I walked out with a frizzy blowout and a mullet. My top layers were all the way up past my ears and I wanted to cry. Had to immediately ask my manager to get the layers blended in but they couldn't do a lot for it was already way too short. Months later my layers have finally almost reach a normal length (meaning not 3 inches long anymore ). Mortified I finally got the courage to tell this review because as a young female, this really hurt my confidence because I loved my hair and that to me was my best feature. read more

I am very upset. I have used this location many times and have never had an issue, but today was completely different. I went in at a slow time which is almost unheard of on a sunday, but I was happy to get in right away since I am leaving for vacation on Sat and would not have had time this week to get my hair done. I sat down and got a girl I had never seen before. Not a big deal, that happens. She was pleasant and started on me right away. I was getting my roots colored to match the rest of my hair and a VERY SLIGHT trim since I am trying to grow out my hair. All is going well. The color turned out great the cut was perfect, but when I was being shampooed it was like she only washed the top on my head. Maybe I was being paranoid. Nope I wasnt. I get in the car after paying 80 bucks (with tip) and got my hubby from work and he mentioned the dye all over my right ear. My hair goes past my ears almost to my shoulders so I didn't see anything before I left the salon. My ear was COVERED with dark brown hair dye, as well as the side of my face and in my ear as well as it was still caked in my hair!!! I got it all over my hand and was afraid I would get it all over my car. I get home and I have to jump into the shower and scrub my head as well as my ear and the back of my head by my hair line because still had dye in it!!! So not only was dye left in my hair and ears and face, but I just got new living room furniture!! Imagine if I sat down with I got home and got dye all over it. I am beyond angry. For 80 bucks I expect much better than this!!! Not only was I think I was overcharged for a root touch up, but I had to immediately ruin the nice style that was put in my hair because I had to wash the dye from my hair which should have been washed out in the first place. Tried to say a shampoo and style was going to be $35 when last week I was in and for shampoo, cut, blowdry, and style for $30 which included tip. They said that curling my hair would cost more because I have thicker hair even though my hair is above my shoulders. The lady was very rude on the phone and said that I could come when the lady who charged me for the wrong price is there to see if it would be cheaper. Not going there again. read more

I used to go here on a regular basis, my last two haircuts and hair dye were horrific. I was going to attend a wedding and there were blotches of undyed hair that were very visible. Called and the district manager never called me back the district leader did and they re did my hair and still left blotches. Never again! read more
